If you’re sad about Arc just get on Zen. I miss nothing.

Acquired companies never do anything interesting afterward. YouTube and Instagram? Sort of… Instagram copied Snapchat and TikTok after years. YouTube starting paying people. But none of these were super innovative. And GitHub just got worse and worse

Really enjoying opencode 2.0 Very solid and well thought out. And very nice plugin system, even compared to Pi. Asked it to make a "recent folders" launcher and it knocked it out easily with deepseek flash. Didn't even have to relaunch opencode for it to appear.

Made Okonomiyaki for the first time. Wanted to make this for a while and was kind of intimidated by it, but it was actually really easy and super good. Was surprised at how pancake-like it was considering it’s mostly cabbage.

I’m having way too much fun making product marketing videos with AI. Claude has gotten really good at it and the AI voices are great and really customizable now

Getting organized with my dot, spaces, and scheduled tasks I liked the feed and ideas features from Muse so I tried to clone then with a recurring task that updates a page - Daily plan: based on my goals pages and Todoist - News brief: from X, HN, various sites - Ideas: Dot looks at conversation history tasks and pages and finds things it can help me with - Inbox/Backlog: Daily scratchpad that gets auto organized at end of day and backlog of unorganized tasks and notes Image

I don’t even have any users and I already used 50% of my ChatGPT sites quota Will probably use something else going forward

Dots is buggy. Even simple things like adding a scheduled task don’t work reliably.

Added the codex usage widget to my lock screen but it kind of stresses me out 😬

Japanese grape 🍇 drink is the best by far

Codex cloud is really nice for Rust. Too many parallel sessions locally slows down my mini a lot. Kind of crazy watching it make a game in the cloud and sending me screenshots as it plays it.

Out of all my gaming consoles, the one I most wish I kept was my clear purple Gameboy Color.

Will Anthropic nerf the 20x plan and introduce a $500 plan like OpenAI?

I'm building a software factory. It's just a Dots thread that spawns Codex threads.

I can’t do anything in these bot cloud browsers. In hell between auth, 2fa, captcha, anti bot, etc. Somebody fix it.

Enjoying dots overall. Some rough edges and it's a bit confusing/complex. In comparison, Muse is so much simpler and polished and has a lot of the same benefits. I find myself using my local chrome with the logged in session instead of the 'dots computer' since the auth is so unreliable with these cloud browsers. Still feels like I can do almost everything having muse delegate to pi running on my mac.

Logging into codex via Pi on the muse VM and delegating to it has been a decent "Poor Man's Dot"

I'll give Dots a chance, though it's bittersweet that the codex plan was nerfed to make room for it. And I still have no idea how the usage will work.

Hey! Couple questions. - What's the deeper work allowance? Is that separate from codex/work? What's considered 'deeper work'? - With the 'dots computer' doing stuff like Chrome / Blender, does that come out of the 'deeper work allowance'?

Wireheaded token junkies on individual coding plans are probably the worst possible customers for a business. Much better to have a f500 company paying out the ass who's too lazy and bureaucratic to switch providers.
