Happy #PronounsDay! @Mozilla’s @Bugzilla has just replaced all the male/female pronouns with gender neutral ones, both in the UI and code, to make sure everyone feels comfortable while using or even developing the app. Now you decide who you are. github.com/mozilla-bteam/bmo…

This is now available on BMO and will eventually be in Bugzilla 6. You can try it out at bugzilla.mozilla.org/query.c… . teapawt.org/BugzillaUX/status/1144…
Custom Search, one of the hardest-to-use UI on @bugzilla, gets a complete overhaul 🎉 Build a complex query freely by adding rows/groups, moving them with a drag n’ drop, and remove ones if necessary. Welcome to the 21st century 😆 bugzilla.mozilla.org/query.c…

Looks like @mozilla #Bugzilla got a makeover (it has gotten some small adjustments recently). This looks much more modern. Looking forward to some more bits of polish to make some things easier to find and understand. But great work so far!

The incremental improvements that have been appearing in Bugzilla should be an inspiration for anyone working on a legacy product like Firefox. Don’t fear old code, DIVE RIGHT IN and over time, the dividends start paying off. ❤️ to @BugzillaUX for everything you do.

(It's really, really cool to pop into a bug that I last looked at weeks ago and see "7 new comments since your last visit" at the top, and a big red "NEW" line demarcating old / new inside the bug.)

Y'all, the weirdest thing has happened over the last few months: Bugzilla got *good*. Like, the UX is genuinely pleasant now. There are nice little things like markdown support, new content indicators inside bugs, etc. It's great! Amazing iterative transformation.

Really excited about getDisplayMedia(), coming in Firefox 66! It's a standard way to share your screen with a web app, which opens up all kinds of cool opportunities. We're using it in Bugzilla to let people take screenshots and attach them to bug reports *from in the browser.*
What’s New on Mozilla’s @bugzilla: We have shipped attachment feature enhancements 🎉 🌉 Images are finally displayed inline! Soon: video & text 📸 You can now take a screenshot directly from your browser! It works with Firefox 66+ (currently Beta) or Chrome.

Last year we released Crash-Stop, a Firefox extension that helps us triage crash bug reports in Bugzilla. It proved so useful that it is now integrated in Bugzilla! (tl;dr: Crash-Stop users can now uninstall the extension 😃) teapawt.org/MozillaReleases/status…
