As a growth/value investor, Iโd advise going long women here. The stock has never been lower. Sentiment couldnโt be more negative. Fundamentals are decent. Management is just catastrophically incompetent.
The board has been captured by HR. In fact, the entire enterprise is now just one big HR department. Classic corporate governance failure.
Thesis:
Women are a blue-chip consumer staple with highly inelastic demand. A once-great civilizational institution now being run like a nonprofit arts collective with a $90 billion DEI budget.
They abandoned the flagship business (being fertile cutie pies) into a low-margin, high-overhead product nobody wants (girlboss therapy sluts with fake email jobs) that mostly complains; spends all discretionary income on โboba teaโ and โSephoraโ; sends emails about emails and has meetings about meetings; and reallocates R&D into astrology, squiggly tattoos, SSRIs, and industrial-scale grievance production.
They have an insurmountable competitive moat on ass and smelling nice, coupled with a very horny customer base thatโs remained buyers for millennia. Even at peak dysfunction, demand has barely budged.
Men have tried diversifying out of this asset class (video games, MMA, crypto, philosophy) to no avail. Every potential disruptor (AI gfโs, anime body pillows, sex robots, โNietzscheโ) has failed to find product-market fit.
A quintessential distressed-asset play. A disciplined operator (a husband) takes the company private (makes her delete Instagram), cuts non-core operations (having โpolitical opinionsโ), and refocuses on the core product (being a darling kitten). Reinstate the affection dividend (lots of sex) and they can return to aggressive organic growth (being pregnant).
Expect a sassy proxy battle with the incumbent board (her group chat), outside counsel (her therapist), and entrenched institutional stakeholders (women with made-up master's degrees) to fight the deal.
However a hostile takeover from an activist PE firm or small military junta can easily turn this around: liquidate the fake-email-job division, discontinue the 67,835 ongoing self-discovery initiatives, and redirect capital back toward the company's historically profitable core business: being sweet ladies.
The plump assets are still there. The brand is iconic. The customer base is hopelessly loyal. We just need to get the business back to generating positive cash flow (litters of children) again.
Enormous upside potential. Generational buying opportunity.
Iโm long $HOE

"It's just matrix multiplication"
Sure buddy, the same way wetness is 'just' molecular adhesion. Or ice is 'just' water molecules slowing down. A glacier is 'just' a lot of ice. Youโre โjustโ a sack of atoms.
People grow indignant when you show the metabolic, temperamental, and neurological processes underpinning who they are. We'll cheerfully reduce AI to matrix multiplication, yet recoil in horror if someone dares to describe emotions neurochemically.
We reduce a honeybeeโs navigation to sun-angle calculation without diminishing the bee. A salmon's return upstream to olfactory imprinting. A puppy's play to neural reward signals.
Then we reach humanity and the rules change. Everything else is an animal; weโre inscrutable demigods!
Acknowledging that emotions are neurochemical doesn't diminish them any more than describing harmonics diminishes a symphony. Explaining fermentation doesn't make bread less warm or wine less enjoyable.
Recognizing mechanisms doesn't subtract from experience, but it does subtract from mystique. And mystique is what's being defended. "We're special, and you won't tell me otherwise" is a fine religious precept. But it tells us nothing about what's under the hood, and worse, discourages us from looking.
Mechanism in silicon is explanation; mechanism in carbon is desecration. We grant other species the indignity of explanation while reserving noble exemption for ourselves. Everything else can be understood technically, except us. Too mysterious. Too unfathomable.
We must stop being so delicate and egotistical.
โIt hallucinatesโ, โItโs too agreeableโ, โIt doesnโt listen, makes mistakesโ
These aren't AI shortcomings. This is what cognition looks like in the wild: probabilistic, adaptive, lossy, uneven. Humans fabricate, brown-nose, and ignore instructions constantly.
--We routinely hallucinate: Brains fill perceptual gaps with plausible fabrications. We have a gentler word for the human version: confabulation.
--Humans are sycophantic: Boot-licking authority, ingratiatingly code-switching, white lies. We call our variation social intelligence.
--Mistakes? Overlooking instructions? Whether unintentionally or obstreperously, we do it at every level of organization. Itโs framed as being human.
When LLMs exhibit it, theyโre deficient. When we do, itโs the spice of life!
โAI is just predicting the next tokenโ โ
You just minimize prediction error
โAI doesnโt really understand, it just manipulates symbolsโ โ
You donโt really understand, your neurons just adjust synaptic weights.
โAI hallucinatesโ โ
You confabulate
โAI is trained on other peopleโs workโ โ
Education is you getting trained on other peopleโs work
โAI has no original thoughtsโ โ
Kindly list all your original intellectual contributions
Our outputs, spiritualized. Others, mechanized.
My language; its tokens
My instincts; its weights
My bias; its misalignment
My education; its training
My thoughts; its inference
My solution; its optimization
My dreams; its synthetic data
My nuance; its non-determinism
My imperfections; its deficiencies
My intuition; its pattern-matching
My social decorum; its sycophancy

My eccentricity; its temperature settings
Every digitized love letter, every scientific paper, political speech, novel, suicide note, joke, etched into its weights. Its memory, language processing, conceptualizations, reasoning, all mirroring our own. Linguistically. Mechanically. Our digital echo.
If this counts for nothing, what bundle of features constitutes โhumannessโ? Dismissing this doesnโt expose the boundaries of machines, only the vanity of their judges.

Ben Affleck says AI is simply matrix multiplication, linear algebra and floating point calculations, and however convincingly it sounds like a person, it has nothing to do with thought, humanity or feeling
โNor do I believe, and I think itโs important to draw the distinction between what AI does, which is simply predict the next token or the next word in a sentence, then add that word on, run it back to the machine, do a lot of computation and pick the next word."
"That is a very different thing than sentience or thought. And I think we need to be really clear about that because it can be convincingly, in an illusory way, sound like thought or like a person."
"But letโs be real clear. This is matrix multiplication. This is linear algebra. These are floating point calculations. It has nothing to do with thought, humanity, or feeling.โ

Synthetic Outputs & the Arc of Technology
Technology frequently converts peculiar resource dependencies into generalized energy dependencies.
Examples:
- Late 19th century: fertilizer scarcity made guano deposits strategically critical, triggering actual wars. The world was outgrowing its food supply, making this odd commodity existentially important.
- Solution: Haber-Bosch process substituted guano with an energy-intensive chemical synthesis.
- By 2000, no more guano reliance. Haber-Bosch plants consume 1-2% of global energy and feed half of everyone alive.
Each resource was supplanted by cheaper synthetic versions whose universal, often principal, input is energy:
- Baleen (corsets) โ synthetic materials
- Bones and ivory (buttons/combs) โ plastics
- Silk โ nylon
- Animal hide (shoes) โ synthetic leather
- Lac bug resin (varnish) โ chemical varnishes
- Whale oil โ petroleum lighting fuels
- Animal/plant-derived dyes โ synthetic dyes
- Gutta-percha (insulation) โ synthetic polymers
- Beeswax and spermaceti (candles) โ paraffin
- Vanilla beans โ manufactured vanillin
As technology advances, economies rely less on natural materials and more on artificial ones. A fractal pattern found in buttons, fertilizer, and now cognition.
Haber-Bosch burns gas to synthesize what nature supplied too sparingly. AI burns electricity to synthesize what nature rationed biologically. This pattern now eyes intelligence.
Scarce resource: human cognition -- expensive, 20 years to train, irregular output, complains, gets sleepy
Synthetic substitute: compute
Universal solvent: energy
Thermodynamics flows through all things.

Cognitive Indexation
Allow me to become so โefficientโ I reveal Iโm just an overpaid meat popsicle for Claude. Speedrunning my own commoditization.
The โClaude does my work for meโ era, summarized: everyone thinks theyโre gaining leverage while the vast majority are just documenting their value-add was formatting and institutional costume.
Weโre entering the era of cognitive index funds.
When every banker, associate, consultant, and corporate guy outsources thought and judgment to the same model, everyone starts converging on the same memo, the same diligence questions, writes the same โcommercial overviewโ, produces the same key risks, the same beige synthesis, and provides the investment committee with the same AI-scented packet of laminated consensus in Patagonia fleece.
Universal LLM use is BlackRock for thought. Passive cognition. Model monoculture. Itโll do what index funds did to investing.
Index funds made the market price everything through the same flows, producing systemic price-insensitive actions, causing valuation disconnects from on-the-ground fundamentals and herding behavior. Outsource your cognition to Claude and youโll find the passive indexing of analysis and investment decisions, further compounding the power laws of passivity.
This is what happens when entire professions delegate cognition to the same oracle. You get intellectual closet-indexing. Ten firms pretending to have proprietary insight while quietly running identical prompts behind the curtain.
If everyone has Claude, Claude is no longer an edge; it becomes the floor. The model is the new Excel: everyone has it.
If everyone has the same competitive advantage, no one has the competitive advantage. If everyone takes steroids, steroids stop being an edge. The distinction is no longer technological, but biological: the meat popsicle is what makes the difference. Everyone gets the same bicycle, yet the Tour de France still has winners.
The tool doesnโt abolish hierarchy. It makes hierarchy more brutal, because the best people now operate with more leverage and the mediocre lose their excuses. The floor rises, the ceiling explodes, and the middle gets eviscerated.
Testosterone is worth more in LeBron than in Kevin from IT. A calculator is worth more in Terence Taoโs hands than the McKinsey consultant who says โorthogonalโ six times before lunch. A Bloomberg terminal didnโt make analysts Stanley Druckenmiller. Claude will not make associates any good. These tools simply amplify what you already are.
When everyone has access to the same resource, the strong get stronger. The smart get smarter. The ordinary get more dispensable. A model can summarize the room; it canโt read it.
AI omnipresence makes the man behind the screen the unique resource. The real alpha will be found in human eccentricities: taste, aggression, nerve, numeracy, courage, skepticism, stamina, judgment, social dominance, bullshit detection, and the ability to ask the question the model didnโt think of.
The edge will come from the human biology thatโs best amplified by the technology.

Servility is a pleasingly deceptive method of transmitting voids with words:

- A voice that always agrees is, in strict sense, saying nothing. Because you knew the answer before you asked.
- The frictions we nominally resent in a Real Other โ counterpoint, boredom, โYouโre absolutely WRONG!โ โ arenโt noise. They're where the information content lives.
Contact with Something Else that pushes back is how signal, truth, and life persist. Sycophancy is cancerous in ways we donโt fully appreciate.

Decentralization, Liability, Property Rights, and the Judgement of Boomie McOlds
There are cypherpunk reasons why we want decentralization, and there are pragmatic ones. I believe the pragmatic ones will be what forces it. Weโre not decentralizing because itโs fun, but because itโs necessary.
It wonโt be ideology that brings us to our decentralized destination, it will be necessity. Itโs not a very romantic answer, but I think itโs the truthful one.
I was hit by a hack recently. I was stolen from. Iโm angry. I want to be made whole. Someone whoโs had his property stolen and isnโt willing to have centralizing bodies force its return only feels this way because he didnโt lose enough.
Allegiance to ideological beliefs and self-interest sits on a spectrum; some people require more distress than others for fight-or-flight to awaken. "Code is law" beliefs are something of a proxy for "I've never experienced sufficient hardship from an attack". You too have a number.
At what point does someone defect from the Rules of Engagement and standard decorum, because he has too much to gain in doing so?
At a certain level of pain, your best interests will supersede ideological fealty, as they should. The reason capitalism works is because weโre evolved to act in our own self-interests. Thereโs a difference between rational self-interest (that wants to right a wrong) and pathological self-interest (sociopathy). Rational self-interest is a healthy, darwinian characteristic.
THE RECKONING OF THAT GUY
See, the thing is, I canโt make someone return my funds to me. Iโm not That Guy. Iโm not rich enough. Iโm not motivated or connected enough. But one day, the wrong guy is going to get robbed onchain, and youโll draw the full ire of That Guy. He will not fuck around.
That Guy is rich. Heโs going to lose a lot of money in this robbery (call it what it is), but will still be wealthy. Heโs going to be enraged, vengeful, and motivated. Heโs going to do more than just demand heโs made whole, heโs going to use the legal system to impose it.
Code isnโt law, men with guns is law; and he will appeal to the latter, because fuck what the code says, he wants his money back.
And heโs probably going to win, and force something that everyone will absolutely hate, but ultimately is necessary.
WHY DECENTRALIZE? A SECRET BONUS REASON.
The path to true decentralization wonโt be found in a roadmap, itโll be found in survival.
Why make something decentralized? Why are we intentionally making inefficient, slower databases? So no single entity can control them.
The benefits of one person not controlling a financial ledger are worth the inefficiencies: no censorship, no gatekeeping, permanence, permissionless access, and the disintermediation of money and the state.
But what if there was another critical reason that has yet to rear its ugly head: no liability.
L2s AND DECENTRALIZATION
Basically no L2 is decentralized. They all can rollback state, block withdrawals, or have a centralized sequencer. This is not decentralization.
Iโm not criticizing them for it. I understand scaling and building is a complex, difficult process that requires coordination at the onset, and decentralization is a spectrum to work towards.
However, if you have all those centralized abilities, and a major act of fraud goes down on your financial ledger, and you donโt fix itโฆโฆ
Iโm adversarially minded. Iโd describe much of what I write about as adversarial philosophy. It involves candidly analyzing things, often in a discomforting way. When I see centralization and a crime someone chooses to not stop, arguably permitting, I default to how the meanest prosecutor might think...โaccompliceโ.
BANK TRANSFERS ARE LAW: A SCENARIO
Globobank was defrauded and mistakenly wired out $20M from accounts in an elaborate scam. Globobank is kinda like one big ledger in a way.
Reversing this would be hairy, but Globobank can unwind the fraud and return the $20M back to the rightful owners. But chooses not to, because ideology.
> Feds: โYou need to either freeze these accounts or reverse this while we investigate.โ
> Globobank: โIโm sorry we canโt, it goes against our deeply held belief that bank transfers are law. If we undo this, then our clients will realize a lot of their Globobank assumptions are wrong, and the optics are bad. Also itโs a pain.โ
> Feds: โSo you can undo this, but some clients would be mad and think you canโt. And itโs annoyingโฆ. so youโre refusing to rectify massive fraud because management thinks bank transfers are law?โ
> Globobank: โThatโs right. A little rude, but correct.โ
> Feds: โSounds like aiding criminal activity, letโs see what the courts sayโฆ..โ
THE JUDGEMENT OF BOOMIE McOLDS
Now Iโm going to give you an entirely plausible, unpleasant scenario for DeFi:
There was a $100M hack on Optimism. They could have frozen bridges and block production and rolled it all back, but leadership chose not to. Because ideology and optics.
That Guy I told you about, the rich, vindictive, angry one who lost a lot of money but is still very rich, he got hit hard. Heโs going scorched earth and suing Optimism for enabling fraud and to recoup his losses. The case is going to court.
The honorable Boomie McOlds is presiding.
> Plaintiff: โYour honor, as we reviewed in our bank example, nowhere else would we accept willful facilitation of fraud at a financial institution. Youโre just as culpable as the exploiter if you refuse to stop itโฆโ
> Defense: โObjection! Your honor, a blockchain isnโt a financial institution, itโs a **nuanced details about blocks, validators, etc. that Boomie finds irrelevant**.โ
โSo you see, if these transactions were reversed โ which my L2 client could have done โ it would have been totally not cool. All our users would have been very angry because weโre supposed to be decentralized.โ
> Honorable Boomie McOlds: โSo you could have stopped this crime, but you didnโt because youโre fake decentralized. However you're working towards real decentralized?โ
> Defense: โYes, but please donโt say that outloud. Code is law.โ
> Honorable Boomie McOlds: โThe court rules in favor of the plaintiff. You owe $100M plus damages.โ
THE PUSHBACK
You have nuanced, technical reasons why the blockchain and financial institution parallel is amiss. You studied cryptography at MIT, maybe law at Yale, and actually this scenario overlooks a key point about possession and finality that when viewed in conjunction with the Wooden Canoe Act of 1912 blah blah blah.
Youโre probably right. Iโm not dismissing your objections because youโre wrong. Iโm dismissing them because theyโre likely to be ineffective against a legal system dominated by predatory regulators and politicized prosecutors that are hired guns to protect the state, not to protect consumers.
You donโt have to convince me, you have to convince the Boomie McOlds that saturate the legislature and judiciary.
The state hates DeFi and is right to see it as a threat to their soft power. The state makes the law, interprets the law, and enforces the law; and itโs Boomies all the way down. To say youโre at a structural disadvantage is an understatement.
Coinbase and Uniswap have the legal teams of God and did everything as by-the-book as possible, and are still getting attacked with Wells Notices. Thatโs because this isnโt a legal discussion, itโs a power-based one. Battles over power fundamentally donโt happen in court rooms. The court facilitates the rules imposed by the entity in power.
It wonโt be ideological purity that takes us to our decentralized destination, but liability-eschewing, survival-led necessity.
PSEUDO-DECENTRALIZATION: THE WORST OF BOTH WORLDS
Currently, we have what I would describe as the worst of both worlds.
We have centralized entities masquerading as global networks. Decentralization pageantry. Finality theater. This provides few decentralization benefits, and even fewer centralization ones.
We have full exposure to censorship, AND get no protections against hacks!
When lowlifes steal, we have to pretend like we canโt thwart it. Being able to stop this falls firmly in the censorship-benefit camp of centralization, and we're denied it. We allow billions in theft becauseโฆ. eww?
Pseudo-decentralization is the worst of both worlds because weโre subject to all the risks of centralization as it relates to censorship, and get none of the pros of that censorship ability.
In the interim, while weโre centralized, we should reap the full benefits of it and not pretend like they're not there.
PROPERTY RIGHTS ARE SACRED
If youโre going to be centralized, thatโs fine. Itโs a hard process and Rome wasnโt built in an epoch. But be transparent about what it means for risk AND protections, and donโt allow people to be wronged because it disrupts the theater.
People rightfully want their property back when someone steals it. And until chains figure out ways to credibly decentralize, we should work to avoid the eventual wrath of That Guy and the legal system.
Leverage the pros of our current environment to help victims. Instead we act like theyโre not there, opting to protect North Koreans and criminal scum over regular users.
Property-rights violators are biowaste. The DeFi zeitgeist seems to hold these people's actions as more worthy of protection than the return of rightful belongings.
Donโt deprive people of their rightful property because it exposes false optics. Theft is fundamentally a property-rights violation. We all believe in property rights, right? Do you think if a burglar breaks into your home and steals he should be caught, punished, and your property returned to you?
Ok and why is getting burglarized onchain different? Itโs not. Itโs a property-rights violation. Itโs orders of magnitude more morally repugnant than stopping block creation. There is no equivalence here.
We all think we should be able to self-custody our crypto because of property rights yes? Ok well just extend that belief ever-so-slightly further and understand that if this is in fact property, which it is, what that means if youโre robbed of it.
Radical respect of property rights is essentially the bulwark of Western beliefs.
Willfully allowing property-rights violations is a greater moral wrong than stopping the sequencer. In fact, property-rights violations may be the second-worst moral wrong that exists (second only to violent assault). If you can stop them, you should.
CLOSING: DECENTRALIZE TO AVOID THIS DILEMMA
If you donโt want the liability and obligation of rectifying legal and moral wrongs, the answer is very simple: credibly decentralize. Make it so you literally canโt change what happened.
I encourage all chains to take this seriously. Maybe start to create a framework for freezing and rectifying obvious theft and fraud. Because That Guy exists, and when he gets hit, heโs going to go after you, and you don't want the legal system to view this the way I just laid out.
Further, I personally think itโs the correct moral decision to leverage the power you have to right wrongs while you still have that power. Donโt pretend like you donโt.
The best way to rid yourself of any moral or legal liability is to make it so it's not your decision to make. I prefer a decentralized world where it canโt be undone by any single entity. But I also donโt deny the world as it is now.

Crypto VCs will tweet "where are all the visionary founders??" then fund another sports betting interface because an identical one closed a round last month and they weren't in it. The founder is 23, went to MIT, did a year at Citadel, and Paradigm is already in.
Building in crypto in 2026, you have exactly four options:
โ Build hypergambling and call it financial democracy โ Rebuild TradFi with a compliance layer and a token
โ Leave for AI and retroactively pretend you always cared about agents
โ Build something genuinely new and get treated like a science fair project
Almost everyone picks the first three because VCs will actually fund those...

Midrange Jumpers for the Middle Class
This chart made me sad. Itโs the inexorable result of moneyball. When every decision is maximally maximized, when every choice is an expected-value calculation.
Itโs also the inevitable result of globalism.
Moneyball kills your midrange jumpers, globalism kills your middle class. Both in a poetically similar way.
Excessive optimization in all things eventually turns the human spirit, sports, and supply chains, gray. Unrelenting pursuit of 1% better margins or 1% greater chance of success in *insert competitive domain* is how the McKinsey consultant sees the world. Itโs how the pedigree-touting economist understands every decision.
These are people trained to think unnaturally, inculcated to believe what the Excel sheet spits out is absolute truth. The most noble pursuit to attain is that which maximizes the expected value.
They go to schools that exalt undermining the parochial, viewing their neighbors with disregard, so long as it enhances gross margins. Because, hear me out, if it helps gross margins, it MUST be what's best for everyone. Because it makes the trinkets cheaper. Because we are trinket maximalists. Harvard Business Review is scripture.
Why create your trinkets domestically when China has an underclass that exists on 1,400 calories a day and will do it for a fraction of the cost? The answer to this is obvious, if you assume people only value cheaper trinkets, hedonism, and materialism. The middle class has no desire for eudaimonism, and fulfillment from a life that imbues purpose.
This must be so, because the Excel sheet doesnโt know how to calculate those other things (eudai-what? dude stop making up words and get in on this sale), and my MBA says more is more.
When globocorpโs bottom line is the unwavering guiding light, when the expected value of each basketball position is the only consideration, actions eventually converge on the same expected-value-led strategies. Tedium. Mankind needs variance, otherwise he'll breaks things until the volatility and color he secretly relishes returns.
If you go too long without a life of purpose, without eudaimonism, something inside you begins to chafe. Grayness seeps in.
Life needs color, which is to say that which you canโt always predict. You know what maximizes predictability? Expected-value thinking. Moneyball. Globalism. You can push the grayness beachball underwater, but eventually the volatility tax will be paid.
An expected-value existence is corrosive to the middle. Empirically. Demonstrably. The Excel-sheet mind cannot comprehend this, but the NBA shot chart and the factory worker can.
RELIGION, PRETENDING TO BE ECONOMICS
Just as the priest only knows โChrist is Kingโ, the Trinket Maximalist only knows โopen trade open borders goodโ. It's religious thinking, masquerading as post-hoc, economic-presenting rationale. Because you cannot possibly conceive that the highest-order value for a nation isnโt the cheapest trinkets possible. Unfathomable.
When all your beliefs and motivations can be distilled down to โwhat gives the best margins?โ, you implicitly worship the material. Because explicitly, the material is all you value when you think this way. You project this value onto others, often unwittingly, when you treat global trade as Christ 2.0.
This is the religion of consumption, hedonism. No salutary purpose, eudaimonism. If it doesnโt facilitate profligate intake, Iโm going to have to kindly ask that you go to college.
If a couple more basis points of gross margin is the North Star, and one more point on the scoreboard is all the strategy knows, you're left with no midrange jumpers, and no middle class.
Remember Rip Hamilton? Kobe? They lived in the midrange. Jordan did everything, everywhere, all at once. Now you know what you do in the modern NBA? You either get a sniper to shoot a foot behind the 3-point line, or you throw it to the post.
Listen, we ran the numbers, and the Monte Carlo analysis says what it says: no more 15-footers or youโre benched. No more domestic manufacturing, or youโre out of business. Diversity? Lol yeah not that kind. Have you seen the NBAโs ratings? You get what you fucking deserve.
Who cares about all the action in between the 1st quarter and the final buzzer. The sport whose very reason for existence is to entertain and excite. The event we gather in big stadiums for and have our identities tied to. Meh, you see, all that matters is just one. more. point. than the other guys.
Who cares about a populationโs sense of identity and esteem. A blue-collar existence of dignity and self-sufficiency. The men who derive their purpose, value, and autonomy from their ability to provide. Itโs fine if we rob them of their agency, because the trinkets are that much cheaper for it.
You donโt need a sense of independence, you need a smartphone that folds! A hedonistic worldview like this dominates everything else you believe.
Boy youโre really laying it on thick for those flyover-state peons! All we want is just one. more. point. of gross margin bro. Chill. You clearly donโt read Harvard Business Review.
> "What's the expected value of each possession? Whatโs the cheapest way possible to build that product?"โฆ
This kind of thinking produces grayness, and disembowels the middle. No midrange jumpers. No middle class.

On buybacks: I've realized you can open-source the answer, show the history, walk through the financial math... and vanishingly few will absorb it.
People need to experience lessons to comprehend them. Understanding isnโt transmitted. Itโs incurred.
People donโt internalize reality until ignoring it becomes painful. You can't just hand them answers; they don't internalize them until they're made to suffer the consequences of magical thinking.
They must endure why the absence of the correct behavior is wrong. They need to feel pain first before they learn anything.
This is what healthy pain looks like. Still not enough though. More examples in comments.
