Tell me you’re using the presidency for personal promotion without telling me you’re using the presidency for personal promotion. 🤷‍♂️

Before you buy ANY crypto, one of the first things you should check is liquidity. Why? Because buying is easy. The real question is: Can you sell when you want to? If liquidity is low, you might see a certain price on the screen, but that doesn’t mean you can actually sell your entire position at that price. A large sell can cause massive slippage, push the price down, and leave you getting much less than you expected. So next time you’re researching a crypto, don’t just look at the market cap, price, or potential upside. Check the liquidity. Getting in is easy. Make sure you can get out too.

I knew those $0.10 orders were too good to miss 🤩 Both filled perfectly. 1,179 $COW added at $0.10 🐮 Sometimes patience actually pays off.

Honestly, I don’t think so. I think the next few months will still be rough for the entire market, not just Lumia. I’d rather see Lumia survive this period, keep building and enter the next cycle in a strong position than expect some huge recovery by the end of the year. Could it recover? Sure. But I wouldn’t bet on it happening that soon.

Interesting week for Bitcoin. US spot BTC ETFs pulled in around $755M, their strongest week of inflows since April. At the same time, whales have added roughly 20,000 BTC since July 29, worth around $1.2B. And yet BTC is still struggling around $65K. Big money is clearly buying here. The question is whether they’re buying the bottom… or just starting to build their positions before we see it.

Looks like the CLARITY Act isn’t dead after all. The Senate has started the procedural process that could put it up for a vote when they return in September. Still needs 60 votes, so getting enough bipartisan support is the real challenge here. Nothing guaranteed yet, but definitely something to watch next month. If this actually gets through, it would be a pretty big deal for crypto regulation in the US.

By the end of this year? No. I expect to see the bottom by November, followed by a slow recovery. Don’t be fooled, though—we’ll likely see lower prices over the next few months.

Since I posted this, ethereum:0xb753428af26e81097e7fd17f40c88aaa3e04902c has gone from $112 to $172 — and I think this is only the beginning. :) Will there be a pullback? I’d honestly be surprised if there wasn’t. That’s just how markets work. You go up, you cool off, and then you see what comes next. But remember: never chase green candles. Find something you believe is undervalued, do your research, take your position — and have some bloody patience. 🫡 @Saffron
Most people associate fixed-yield DeFi with Pendle. But @Saffron Finance ($SFI) was exploring risk tranching and yield separation back in 2020. Saffron was created by a pseudonymous founder known as @psykeeper, with a simple idea: Not every DeFi user wants the same level of risk. Some users want predictable returns. Others are willing to take more risk for more upside. Saffron was built to connect those two sides. Its first version used DAI and Compound, splitting deposits into different tranches: • senior users received lower-risk returns • junior users absorbed more risk in exchange for higher rewards • SFI was used for incentives, staking and governance The protocol later moved through several iterations: Compound tranches → DeFi insurance → Uniswap V3 fixed-income vaults → Lido-based yield vaults. The current model is essentially a market for future yield. A liquidity provider can give up the uncertain future fees from a Uniswap V3 position in exchange for a fixed payment upfront. Another user pays that fixed amount and receives the future yield. If the position earns more than expected, the variable side profits. If it earns less, the fixed side made the better trade. That is what makes Saffron interesting: It does not create yield. It separates and redistributes existing yield and risk. The protocol has been around for years, has gone through multiple audits and continues to develop. But there are also clear risks: • very low current TVL • limited adoption • weak liquidity • unclear SFI value capture beyond governance • strong competition from Pendle • several previous product versions were deprecated So Saffron is not simply a “dead 2020 DeFi token.” It is better described as a long-running DeFi research project with serious technology, multiple pivots and a product that still has to prove real market demand. The bull case is simple: If fixed-yield vaults gain adoption and #SFI receives real fee or staking utility, the token’s 100,000 maximum supply becomes very interesting. The bear case is equally simple: Good technology means little without users, liquidity and sustainable revenue. $SFI is worth watching — but adoption, not supply, will decide its future.
