There’s a huge difference between studying competitors and obsessing over them
One gives you better hypotheses for your own game
The other just destroys your focus
Research, take notes, then go ship
A “unique” Roblox idea isn’t automatically a good idea.
I’d rather build something players understand in 3 seconds with one meaningful twist than something 100% original that needs a paragraph to explain.
Familiarity reduces friction. The twist creates curiosity.
