Before sharing a claim about a hack, check whether the exchange has confirmed an incident and what users are actually being told. The source notes raise a question about Binance being hacked, but they do not provide a confirmed report, a date, or details about what happened. That is not enough to say a breach took place. There is also no reliable figure here for how much may have been taken. Giving a number without a source can turn an unverified claim into something people repeat as fact. The same goes for “Z.” The note does not identify who that is or provide a quote, so there is no accurate way to report what they said. Look for a statement from @binance or a credible report that names its source. Check when it was published, whether it describes a confirmed attack, and whether the reported amount is attributed to anyone. If you hold funds there, use the exchange’s official channels for account notices and security guidance. Do not follow links from strangers or hand over passwords, recovery phrases, or verification codes to someone claiming to help. A real incident can involve different things: a platform outage, a compromised user account, or a breach of exchange systems. Those are not interchangeable, and the details matter before anyone draws conclusions.
