Great to see you Scott @TheDesignClass at the @Scottish_TTA conference. Loved the CPD on 3d printing. Use so much of your materials in the department from your website. Have bought you a coffee to help. Would encourage as many of you can to do the same!

Queen Anne are one lucky, lucky school to be getting Miss P. I am absolutely gutted we haven’t got a space for you next year. You have been such a blessing this year and that feeling is very much mutual from our pupils too. You’ll be sorely missed!!! ❤️

Our new S4 have organised a wee get together to say goodbye to our lovely @MissBusEd1 who will be leaving us to join @QahsCdt in the Business Department. Fair to say she’s well loved and will be missed!

Come join our fantastic team! No experience necessary. I joined as a probationer in 2010 and have been on the committee ever since! My sister joined as a student teacher too and we used to car share and go for cake afterwards. First meeting is this Saturday in Glasgow.

Something I don’t think is discussed enough - how important it is for middle & senior leaders to remember what it’s like for a teacher ‘on the ground’ to teach full period days, often for 2-3 days back to back. Two days into October holiday fortnight and I’ve made a dress, made “Parent’s Night” name plates for the dept, done all my marking, decorated a S1 CDT project, prepped for a 4th Birthday Party and spring cleaned everything in my house. Where is this energy during the term?! 🤣

Getting a little stressed out that I don’t have a correct timetable for starting back at school next week. I have a version from before the holidays that is wrong and I’ve printed a copy from our registration program but it’s got too many free periods on it. 😭

I feel like every year it gets more complicated and later and later. Being dual qualified means it could include 6 different certificated subjects anything from N5-AH or 6 different courses for BGE. 🤯 not to mention wider achievement classes. 🙈🤣

FAO teachers in Scotland back at work next week. Some of your pupils had an awful summer- were hungry, felt isolated, & they didn’t go anywhere nice. Don’t force them to write or talk about their summer. You could ask them what they are looking forward to this year instead 👍
