In light of recent developments, The C64 Take-away's social media presence will be moving over to #Mastodon. This account will remain online as a placeholder for now. Thanks for all the positive interactions we've had over the years. Come follow along on mstdn.dk/@C64Takeaway

The #C64 community has lost one of our own, way too early. On November 2nd, SID composer Johannes "Jozz" Bjerregaard passed away due to a recurrence of cancer at the age of 52. Thanks for letting us Triangle 3532 folks use your "Zoom" for our intro tune, Jozz.

Hey-hey-hey! It's another 49 minutes of carefully curated #C64 tunes and music news for your podcast player of choice. Enjoy! c64takeaway.com/57

Clearly, there's no limit to Linus "lft" Åkessons genius. Back in 2010 the Chipophone played #C64 music on an organ. 11 years later the Sixtyforgan does the opposite: youtu.be/YfsyCG-J6R8

So, @CommodoreFormat got banned in Australia as part of the "facebook should pay us... why should we pay you when we can just block you?" kerfuffle. Sadly the sites RSS has been broken for 5+ months. I know, because I filed a bug report back in September. Still hoping for a fix.

So ... 2020 wasn't all bad. 174 new #C64 remixes were released. And now you can get all of them using the RKO 2020 torrent. Please help your fellow remix fan by seeding for as long as you can. remix.kwed.org/#RKOtorrents

What Chris said. Thanks to him, his team and all us backers, everyone gets to have even more nice things.

Yah! We're getting more symphonic #C64 goodness! ❤️

3 days and £7.367 left to fund 8-Bit Symphony Pro: Second Half. After the EPIC first half, the world needs more orchestral #C64 tunes - especially in these trying times. Get your wallet out. Also, help spread the word: bit.ly/3mvrn42

More symphonic goodness is coming our way, people. And this time one of my all-time favorite #C64 chiptunes (Nemesis the Warlock) is getting the orchestral treatment.
