Rest in Peace good sir...
"I'll see you again."
Again, we just lost another legend today š
Legendary mangaka Tetsuya Chiba, best known for creating Ashita no Joe alongside writer Asao Takamori, has passed away at 87. Through the unforgettable journey of Joe Yabuki, Chiba helped create one of the most influential sports manga ever published, a work whose imagery, characters, and emotional ending became deeply embedded in Japanese popular culture.
But Chibaās legacy stretched far beyond the boxing ring. Across a career that began professionally in the 1950s, he created stories about sumo, golf, baseball, school life, war, and everyday people, with many eventually reaching television and film.
Some of his most notable works included:
⢠Ashita no Joe ā Artist, with writer Asao Takamori
⢠Notari MatsutarÅ ā Creator
⢠Ore wa Teppei ā Creator
⢠Ashita Tenki ni Naare ā Creator
⢠Harris no Kaze / Harris no SenpÅ« ā Creator
⢠Akane-chan ā Original Manga Creator
⢠Kaze no YÅ ni / Like the Wind ā Original Story Creator
⢠Yuki no TaiyÅ ā Creator
⢠Shidenkai no Taka ā Creator
⢠1ā¢2ā¢3 to 4ā¢5ā¢Roku ā Creator
⢠Hinemosu Notari Nikki ā Creator
⢠Chikai no MakyÅ« ā Artist
⢠Misokkasu ā Creator
⢠ShÅnen yo Racket o Idake ā Creator
⢠Mama no Violin ā Creator
His achievements were recognized at the highest levels of Japanese culture. Chiba received numerous manga honors throughout his career and, in 2024, became the first manga artist to receive Japanās Order of Culture, one of the countryās highest distinctions.
Rest in peace, Tetsuya Chiba. Joe Yabuki may have burned until only white ash remained, but the stories Chiba drew will continue inspiring manga artists and readers for generations. šļø

Well, i think now this film is probably the most impactful film the Looney Tunes will ever have. The fight for it's release and now being one of the final projects Eric Bauza worked for not only the franchise but his career....fuck this one hurts man

I personally didn't want the skin because she creeped me out in the movie.
Now I want it specifically to piss people off lol.

Thereās no influx of based chuds getting those jobs. Because those jobs simply donāt exist anymore. And they sure as shit donāt know how to make games even half as good as the worst BioWare games anyway.
Itās a net loss of jobs. A net loss of stability for real game developers in this industry to know that a 30 year old studio can just be ended.
These people donāt want anything but for others to hurt. Even at the cost of a worse games industry for everyone, so long as they donāt have to see a black woman or blue hair in a game they donāt have to play.
