My daughter in Salt Lake Coty has a big old dying sunflower in her yard. She filmed this downy woodpecker visiting. Woodpeckers are predators, but at least the downy ones also eat seeds in the fall. This one is probably looking for both bugs and sunflower seeds. My daughter says the bird would work out a seed every once in a while, then fly to a nearby branch and peck it open. Then return. Downies are the smallest and most common American woodpecker. And I think the cutest. What do you think?

Using the Same Words is exactly what we shared during the anti ICE demonstrations earlier this year. ASO Communications Funded by OSF/Soros Words repeated by the NEA, Indivisible, Democrats, Make the Road NY etc. Check out the examples reported here⬇️ xitter.cf/hikidhey/status/201589…
Is the far-left's anti-ICE messaging genuine and unique? Or controlled and copied? The left's messaging may come from a common source--the "Freedom Over Fascism Toolkit"--produced by organizations funded by George Soros' Open Society network and others. 💰Open Society & Robert Wood Johnson ➡️funds ASO Communications and the State Innovation Exchange (SiX). 🗒️ASO/SiX "Freedom Over Fascism" messaging➡️in communications from national labor unions, Democrat Party affiliates, far-left activist organizations, and Minnesota NGOs from across the country.🧵

🚨 PARTY HOPPER: President Trump went to Florida and said it straight: defeat David Jolly. He called him a radical left Democrat who used to be a Republican and got thrown out of the party LIKE A DOG. Jolly says Trump is lying, they never met, and he’s just an old Bush 41 Republican now running as a Democrat. Barack Obama cut a video for him. He didn’t even show up in Florida. Florida has about 1.5 MILLION more registered Republicans than Democrats. That’s the mountain. Republican. Independent. Democrat. Now he wants the governor’s mansion. Florida already knows who he is. KEEP IT RED.

For two years and twenty-seven days, a twenty-foot white fiberglass boat with no engine and no crew refused to sink in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Her name was Kamome, meaning Seagull. She was the training skiff of Takata High School in Rikuzentakata, Japan, a town where the March 2011 tsunami killed over 1,700 people and wiped the high school off the map. On April 7, 2013, after drifting four thousand miles across the ocean, Kamome washed ashore on a beach in Crescent City, California, covered in four feet of gooseneck barnacles. Why did California officials not simply crush the boat with a bulldozer like other tsunami debris? Because the teenagers of Del Norte High School in Crescent City stepped in and refused to let her be destroyed. Crescent City had also been hit by the 2011 tsunami waves across the ocean. When the American high school students learned that the kanji painted on the bow belonged to Japanese teenagers who had lost their school and classmates, they made a decision. They grabbed scrapers, brushes, and water hoses. Together with local fishermen and police officers, those American kids spent hours scrubbing every barnacle off the hull by hand until the white fiberglass and the Japanese characters shone in the California sun. In October 2013, Kamome arrived back home in Rikuzentakata. When the Japanese students touched the clean hull of their boat, they realized they were not forgotten on the other side of the sea. Since that day, students from both high schools have crossed the Pacific every year to visit each other as family. The ocean can take a town away. Only good kids with scrub brushes can bring hope back across four thousand miles.

🚨 CORRUPTION WARNING: Los Angeles’ top federal prosecutor just said California’s midterms are at serious risk of being CORRUPTED. Bill Essayli says NONCITIZEN votes are already being counted, and California confirmed it will COUNT them anyway. This follows a court fight over about 20,000 voters the DOJ claims are noncitizens. Essayli said California argued that whether they are noncitizens is IRRELEVANT. He put it plain: even ONE noncitizen vote is one too many. California is fighting to count ballots the feds say should never have been cast. ENOUGH.

🚨 RECORD CHECK: James Talarico is attacking Elon Musk for spending in Texas while Musk lives here, votes here, and built businesses here. This is personal for Elon. He has lived the damage gender ideology does to kids. Talarico may sell you “woke 2.0” now. Make no mistake. He was on that bandwagon when it mattered. He voted against Texas’ ban on gender medical interventions for minors. He is on tape with the radical lines. Now he wants voters to believe he never bought into the left’s gender ideology. Don’t buy the rebrand. Look at the RECORD. Ken Paxton. You know exactly what you’re getting.

🚨 LOL: James Talarico just blamed the richest man in the world for every attack ad, mailer, and scary text in Texas. If you saw it on TV, that was Elon. If it hit your mailbox, that was Elon. If you got a scary text, that was Elon too. Meanwhile, billionaire Reid Hoffman is bankrolling Talarico. Over $11 MILLION into the pro-Talarico super PAC. Then he claimed Ken Paxton is “not even from Texas” and called him a Californian. Just like Elon. The hosts shut him down. Musk lives in Texas. His businesses are in Texas. He pays massive property taxes here. He is a Texas voter. Lawrence Jones piled on. Look at Talarico’s donor list. The people bankrolling HIM are from California. He wants moral superiority while taking out-of-state billionaire money. Give it back, James. Texas sees through this.

This happened in my district. @60Minutes is reporting fake news. As @DHSgov and @ICEgov have already made clear, this guy was not a “Texas father.” He’s an illegal alien whose very existence on American soil violated federal law every second of every day for 25 years. Don’t want to get caught up in the government’s fully legal third-country removal policy? Don’t be here in the first place. Easy. We are a nation of LAWS. Follow them, and life is good. Break them, and life is bad. And hey @Uber: why are you allowing illegal aliens with orders of removal to drive on your platform?
A Texas father who had lived in the U.S. for 25 years with no criminal record was finishing his night shift as an Uber driver when immigration agents detained him. Without being able to speak to his lawyer or a judge, he was put on a plane and sent first to Ghana, a country where he had no ties. He was then sent to his home country, despite a determination by a U.S. immigration court judge that he could not be deported there due to likely persecution. cbsn.ws/3Ude66r

🚨 CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Abdul El-Sayed’s own outreach captain just called Americans IDIOTS for asking about Muslim Brotherhood ties. T.J. Wolfgram, listed as Independent/Conservative Outreach Captain for Abdul’s Senate campaign, was filmed eating noodles in a tank top that says ABDUL US SENATE. He said the Brotherhood questions are “ridiculous,” then spelled it out: “It’s because Americans are idiots.” He added he has NO ISSUE with the Muslim Brotherhood, and if he knew more he might support some of what they do. He even shrugged off how Islamic-ruled nations treat women as someone else’s “self-determination.” This is the team Michigan is supposed to trust with a U.S. Senate seat. VOTE MIKE ROGERS.
