Our annual Cheatham County Education Hall of Fame ceremony will be held on Thursday, October 22 at 6 p.m. in the Norma Beshears Multi-Purpose Room at Cheatham Middle School. Eleven individuals will be inducted into the Class of 2026. The public is invited to attend the ceremony!

The historic USS LST 325 has docked at Riverbluff Park in Ashland City, and an opening ceremony was held today to kick off the stop. A special thank you to the Cheatham County Central High School band for an outstanding performance during the ceremony. #ccsdtn

Four of our school counselors attended the Tennessee School Counselor and Administrator Leadership Institute in Murfreesboro: Lydia Postlewait and McKenna School of Pleasant View Elementary School, Natalia Ricks of Sycamore High School and Brandi Gilland of Harpeth Middle School.

Our Special Education Department came together today for an in-service and luncheon at our transportation facility. Staff members spent time reviewing important information, sharing best practices and collaborating on ways to continue providing support for our students. #ccsdtn

⛳️🎉Congrats to @shs_sycpride senior Isabelle Harris, who qualified for the TSSAA state golf tournament. She shot a 72 in today’s region tournament. The state tournament will be held October 5-6 in Sevierville. This marks the third time that Harris has qualified for state.🏌️‍♀️🙌

🎉 We are excited to announce our district-level Teachers of the Year! The three will now go on to compete for Teacher of the Year in their respective grade bands in the @TNedu’s Mid-Cumberland region. 🙌 #ccsdtn
