Some exciting news! A major win for independent ATM’s everywhere and ensuring safe access to cash.
Exciting news, the Safe Access to Cash Act just passed the Senate! Ensuring that Americans have reliable access to cash is essential for small businesses, rural communities, and individuals who depend on physical currency for their daily transactions. This legislation guarantees that non-bank ATMs receive the same federal protections as bank-owned machines, providing much-needed security for the small businesses that host them.

We are happy to say that that Safe Access to Cash Act has gained two new House cosponsors since the fly-in: Rep. Matt Van Epps (R-TN-7) and Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL-27). For the Payment Choice Act, Rep. Salazar also signed on as a House cosponsor. – at Washington, DC

ATMs have replaced banks as the main target of cash robberies. That's why I worked with Sen. Gallego to introduce the Safe Access to Cash Act, legislation that today passed out of the Judiciary Committee unanimously. My full remarks are available here: youtube.com/watch?v=6RaQ-mKD…
