Hey SF! Beware of billionaires masquerading as grassroots folks. Names like GrowSF, Abundant SF, Together SF, and Neighbors for a Better SF are an attempt to disguise destructive intent from conservative tech and real estate oligarchs worth over $21 billion.

the racism and classism here, especially among these tech bros, is astounding transit is a *public service* that should be open to *everyone*, regardless of class, race, etc. and especially with the current storms, many homeless people are just looking for a warm place to be
People advocating for public transit must be vocal and unequivocal: vagrants are not welcome in trains or stations and must be kept out.

We must protect CCSF. It’s SUCH a gem.
Wondering where the recent election leaves CCSF? Board makeup doesn’t change that the next few years are critical It must fend off an accreditation warning, increase enrollment to shake off stalled state finances, AND defend its free tuition from the city thefrisc.com/sf-city-college…

What do you do when someone threatens you and says “I know where you live”? Monster truck was blocking the driveway to my place, I honk and try to get them to move asap. I live on a very active street and it’s a merge point. I can’t leave the car bc it’s dangerous.

They didn’t have hazard lights on. They were full on parked and no one was around, I couldn’t leave my car to check bc it’s a very active main street in SF. I would have been hit by cars if I got out. Why do trucks/cars get so entitled to park wherever and threaten people?!

@sfmta your lane change to create a merge point (two lanes to one) on a very busy main street is going to kill me or others. Also what’s the point of enforcement and parking tickets if you don’t give them? Some cars feel entitled to double park or block driveways all the time.

X has really gone down hill. Why are political tweets censored or people shadow banned but graphic videos of people dying/people committing murder/pornography are so visible on this site? It’s disturbing.

The San Francisco Deputy Sherrif's Association tagged "RawRicci415" Ricci Wynn (just arrested for pimping) as the very first person on their voter guide last month - along with Tom Wolf, Garry, David Sacks, and all the SF conservative players. What was the connection to Ricci?

Garry "Make SF Great for families Again" Tan and Tom Wolf busy deleting all connections to the recently-arrested-for-pimping Ricci Wynn but the internet is forever and their grifting days are winding down. Maybe they're worried about the client list cops pulled off Ricci's phone?

The primary role played by YIMBYs is rolling back affordability mandates in favor of market rate housing. They prefer housing that's segregated by income, rather than integrated.

the number of instances that Supervisor Connie Chan has been harassed by men, both online and in person, is alarming. Forrest Liu, co-founder of Asian Am org "Dear Community," also acted out of pocket toward Chan. missionlocal.org/2024/10/for… ("Stop Asian hate," indeed)

Among those who received money from Die Slow Tan: Bilal Mahmood for DCCC 2024 ($5,000), Nancy Tung for DCCC 2024 ($5,000), Jade Tu for DCCC 2024 ($1,000), Trevor Chandler for Supervisor 2024 ($500), Re-Elect Mayor London Breed 2024 ($500), Grow SF “Dump Dean” PAC ($50,000*)
Garry Tan gave almost $200K to local campaigns; Milk Club says give it back. Should candidates take money from tech baron whose tweet spurred death threats against local officials? 48hills.org/2024/02/garry-ta…

Bought a couple fortune cookies with our Chinese takeout. So disappointed when we opened them and got the weakest fortunes plus dumb @Waymo ads. This honestly ruins the experience. Give me a plain fortune cookie instead of an ad. #sf This crap fortunes should have been free

To be clear, when I was an election observer, I couldn’t bring in a tote bag - @SFElections why is this candidate walking around with a backpack around ballots????? WTF
1/ why is SF so slow at ballot counting!? on election night ~54.9% of votes were counted. 9 days later there are still 15.8K ballots (~3.8%) left to count. today my team went to @SFElections and discovered 9 bottlenecks. thread 🧵 1/17

The press is *supposed* to protect the public. We count on you to do your jobs, to bring light to things that hide, to protect democracy from those who want to buy it and mold it into their own likeness.

History will remember that when this rise of fascism began coming through San Francisco, a lot of our press went around calling the donors and enablers moderates. Words matter. This was misinformation. Over and over and over the public was misinformed because…why, really?

Absolutely heartbroken. Children get their values from adults. Adults and government officials constantly demonizing unhoused people as lazy, degenerate, dangerous failures - has violent consequences. Teach your kids to be kind + that most of us are a paycheck away from this.
