Thank you to our girls rugby coach Andrew from @IYJ_TheHUB who organised for some @TrailfindersW players to support at sessions this week! Players were coached by Alana Borland (NZ World Cup winner), Niamh Swailes (Eng, U20 international) and Evie Bowers TRF community programme)
Andrew runs @IYJ_TheHUB every Saturday at Croxley Danes, from 10:30-12! Speak to the PE department or come to training on Tues afterschool for more information
Netball success this week! Well done to the seniors in their first ever league games, winning against Reach and the Grange, well done to POMs Ellen and Orla! Well done to the year 10s winning their game against the Grange this week, and to POM Neve!
Well done to the table tennis teams for participating in their tournament recently! Well done to the girls U13 and U16 teams who came 2nd!
Well done to our sports leaders supporting at their first primary event - year 3 and 4 multi sports event at St John’s.
A great day attending the three rivers sports leaders training day for our new cohort of year 9 sports leaders! A great opportunity to develop their leadership skills, and deliver some tri golf and cricket activities in the afternoon to local primary schools!
A level PE perk: a day out at Wimbledon. Experiencing outdoor court side seats, Herman Hill and many more @croxleydanes
That’s the last of the bronze students picked up and heading home… longer day than expected, some needing a good 12 hours sleep @croxleydanes
Good start this morning. All through checkpoint 1, some already through checkpoint 2. First groups expected to finish around 1:30 some later: they will phone when back at croxley @croxleydanes
We were lucky to have @oneractive come in to deliver a Project Power workshop for our year 10 girls yesterday! They all received free kit, did a fitness session and had a talk from representative Lucy Adams.
In half term our rugby coach Andrew from @IYJ_TheHUB organised for some of our girls rugby team to go to a @TrailfindersW game where they had training before the game with Flo Long and Sara Seye. Then they did the guard of honour for the game (you might have seen them on tv!)
They were lucky to meet lots of professional players, getting shirts signed! They met lots of England players - Abbie Burton, Meg Jones, Haidee Head, Vicky Laflin and many other international players! Thank you so much @TrailfindersW and @IYJ_TheHUB for such a great opportunity!
