When you have a window to win you must seize that opportunity immediately. Bears did the right thing. We need to get healthier and stay healthy. But we can use CB depth.
Bears sent a message to the Fans and more importantly to the Team. “We are ready to win now”’. All that money spent on Hats, Jackets, Jerseys and Ticket Sales are not for nothing. Better and Best means something. Hard work means something. Preparation means somethin Let’s go
Bears got a Chris Jones with the Chiefs kind of guy. When you can wreak havoc up the middle a QB can’t step up in the pocket. Now Sweat, Booker and Dayo can eat even more.
Bears got that A gap pressure guy. Gave up two 1st picks for 30 year old guy means they want to win right now. No hate. Rather see them go for it.
That’s reverse psychology. Say it ain’t gonna happen and then Boom!!! lol
Jeffrey Simmons signed a 3 yr 105 mil contract on June 16 2026. He’s not being traded for by the Bears. There is no room for his 35 mil a year contract going forward.

“If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”

“He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.”
Matthew 13:11-12 NIV
Inherently we typically know right from wrong. Folks want to argue and put up for themselves people who will tell them what they want to hear. We prefer a lie over truth. Truth convicts & compels change. A lie provides false comfort & apathy. Thus, no real change
“That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.”

“The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.”

I fully understand why David prayed for God to create in him a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him. Sometimes, the greatest battle is not with the people around us but with what is happening inside us. You can have a good heart and still need God to work on your attitude, your thoughts, your reactions and the things you struggle to control.
