.@POTUS: "@CEA47 estimates that the Most Favored Nation deals that we're extending to states today will save Medicaid over $64 billion... Every state will now have the ability to use those extra billions of dollars to invest in other healthcare improvements."
.@POTUS: "Thank you all for being here today as we take historic action to officially extend the benefits of our Most Favored Nation agreements on prescription drug prices to state Medicaid programs all across the nation."

News: The White House is going all out to convince Senate Republicans to advance landmark crypto legislation today over banks’ concerns.
Officials plan to launch an interactive tool that allows users “to set the parameters, run the scenarios, and see for themselves” why CEA previously concluded “there is no meaningful relationship between stablecoin growth and community bank deposit flight,” I’m told.
The new website will also include an FAQ on its earlier report and responses to banks’ critiques.
“The data simply does not support the deposit flight narrative that DC bank lobbyists are pushing,” @patrickjwitt said.

.@CEA47 Chair Christopher Phelan: "Inflation is coming down. [The Fed] didn't choose to raise rates three months ago when inflation was higher; it doesn't make sense to raise rates now."

FACT: President Trump is the first President to actually LOWER prescription drug prices.

"If you look at some of the things that came in below the average, which basically means their price fell, they're attributable to specific Trump Administration policies," says @CEA47 Chair Chris Phelan on the July CPI report.
"Beef prices fell. @POTUS put out an Executive Order in February specifically to address beef prices."
Our sincere condolences are with the family of Dr. Alan Greenspan, the 10th Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers.
🚨Tax Day Stats🚨
Americans are benefitting from the largest tax refunds in history, thanks in large part to President Trump's signature policies in the Working Families Tax Cuts.
These new and enhanced provisions include No Taxes on Tips, No Taxes on Overtime, No Taxes on Social Security, No Tax on Car Loan Interest, an Enhanced Child Tax Credit, and an increase in the standard deduction.
Demand for capital goods (inputs for future production) has also surged. Now at its highest share of goods imports on record. More capital goods today means more production tomorrow.
