I’ve noticed something about La Liga fans. They’re always talking about the Premier League. EPL this, EPL that. Every single discussion somehow ends up being about English football.
Does La Liga actually have anything going on outside Barcelona and Real Madrid? Because you’d think Sevilla, Levante, Real Sociedad, Valencia and the rest of those clubs don’t even exist.
Two clubs carry the conversation, and their fans spend the rest of their time monitoring another country’s league.
Imagine claiming you watch the superior league but can’t go five minutes without bringing up the league you’re supposedly better than. 😂
At this point, the Premier League is living rent-free in La Liga’s head. Maybe the farmers’ league jokes aren’t hurting as much as we thought.

Allow the manager to work and you’ll see progress. It’s not hard to understand, but spoilt Chelsea fans expect Alonso to turn a team that finished 10th last season and went months without scoring into the Invincibles.

I really cannot wait for Alonso to start featuring Estevão regularly so we can all see that he isn't the second coming of Messi, because at this point, that's exactly how some of us are treating him.
We've become so obsessed with Estevão not getting enough playing time that we've convinced ourselves his absence is the reason we're struggling on the pitch.
We're forgetting that scoring goals isn't our biggest problem. We have 17 goals in the Premier League, with only Man City and Brighton scoring more across the entire league.
Our real problem is defensively, and the manager is doing everything he can to add more legs and stability to the defence.
But no, instead of understanding that, we're being selfish and inconsiderate because we desperately want Estevão to start. Absolutely crazy!
