ALT "I was connected with a patron who had very recently become homeless through open dialogue, the patron stated that they had concerns for years about their mental health, and that previous attempts at seeking supports had not been successful. With the patrons consent, I facilitated a referral. From here, the patron finally receiving the diagnosis they always felt they had. The patron described hearing this diagnosis as a weight being lifted off their chest and a strong feeling of vindication. The patron stated that for the first time in their adult life, they had hope for the future and had a path towards success." Josh Smith, Community Navigator Community Connectors.
