He’s settled in and played well. I’m just having a hard time with three touchdowns called back… you move past the penalties though, and he has made some really good throws.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen a game with three touchdowns called back because of penalties. Wow.

That last bobble and drop speaks to your point. He should have wrapped up that reception before the DB got his hand on it.

It’s a fair point. The throw to Matthews that was behind him was one he probably could have / should have caught. His hands are as good as anybody on this team. And we have to hold Sellers to under 20 yards a carry… that would be helpful.

No, it’s not. But when you’re running to your left, and you have a guy wide open 12 yards away, taking the extra two or three strides and then throwing it screws up the whole play.

I want to thank everyone for the many wonderful messages sent about last night’s debut Friday program. The best one I received: My older daughter, Caleigh. She was listening in Los Angeles and text saying she got emotional when she heard the original open for my program. She was only 6 years old when she first heard me putting that together but she remembered. She was there from day one and it really connected for her. It was the best text I got all night.
