I was thinking about the Jones Plantation scene this morning of the one slave that can see what’s happening (Sam) trying to tell his fellow slaves what’s actually happening and who Mr. Smith actually is; and the reaction he got. I’ve been through that in real life with my own family and believe me it was surreal (after having seen the movie). Upon deeper thought, among his base Trump is looked at as “one of us” to his supporters and “not a politician”. You can draw a parallel to Mr. Smith, being a former slave himself now coming to rescue the current slaves as their savior. He’s both racially one of them and formerly situationally one of them, so the slaves see him as “one of us”. I doubt the film did this on purpose, but the case can be made that Mr. Smith is a direct metaphor for Donald Trump. I’m not saying Trump only has white supporters, but in the small little world that is Jones Plantation it’s a striking snapshot. @JonesPlantation #Trump #WeAllLiveOnJonesPlantation

After listening to family talk for hours the last few days, I've observed one major thing about statists and how they're conditioned to think: Other races, religions, ethnic-groups & foreigners are viewed as sub-human. Rather than just being people, they're a pest that needs dealt with. Statism has successfully turned people against people without the courtesy of knowing who they are first. Not to mention Democrats in a Republican family.. they're viewed as sub-human too that need to be cured like some disease. It's sad to listen to. #Trump
