ALT Participation, community engagement, and co-production are key elements of policy and practice for public bodies in Scotland. Our training offer specifically for public bodies and partnerships is designed to support staff to understand the broad policy trends and objectives around community participation in public services, and the key legislative requirements central to this approach. Our training is: Well-balanced between tried-and tested methods and innovative techniques to ensure learning outcomes are met. Delivered by experienced practitioners who understand the topics, and how to facilitate meaningful discussion and learning. Always engaging and participative, allowing time for discussion and reflection - no ‘death-by-powerpoint’. Authoritative and value-led, bringing together SCDC’s knowledge of the developing empowerment policy environment, and our position as the lead body for community development in Scotland.

ALT "Moray Wellbeing Hub are a collective of people from the community of Moray who have experienced challenges in their mental health and wellbeing at some point in their lives and want to make positive change. They gather and advocate with collective voice back to strategic bodies like health and social care partnership, around a range of issues from substance use to justice, neurodiversity to long term conditions. The social movement is hosted by Moray Wellbeing Hub CIC, a social enterprise that resources its members through delivering community projects and business services like training and consultancy."
