Dear Manchester City Fans, WE ARE THROUGH!!! That penalty shootout nearly gave me a heartache. I was watching those penalties with my heart in my mouth, one kick away from losing my mind completely. Enzo Maresca still has a lot of work to do but we鈥檙e through to the next round and that鈥檚 what matters. I LOVE THIS CLUB. 馃┑

馃毃Genuine Question: Do you really think Donnarumma would have made us lose this Manchester City Vs Brighton match?

Bouaddi is playing too well for us to keep pretending Enzo Fern谩ndez deserves to start ahead of him in midfield. The difference defensively is there for everyone to see. Bouaddi wins his duels, reads the game and actually gives us something out of possession. Enzo is a different player at 10, but we cannot keep sacrificing our midfield balance to accommodate him. Maresca needs to sort this out.

The Bouaddi start is interesting, and I want to see what Cherki and Foden can create together. I know Rulli鈥檚 masterclass performance is guaranteed. But my question now is why in God鈥檚 name is Guehi on that Pitch?

Dear @MarcGuehi13, I鈥檓 formally writing to you because your performances this season have been giving me serious headaches. Unfortunately, I鈥檓 almost certain Enzo Maresca will start you tonight, so I have one simple request: PLEASE, for the love of God, don鈥檛 make any costly mistakes today. Watching you play for my beautiful club, Manchester City, with absolutely no urgency is becoming a punishment. Please behave yourself tonight and remember that you鈥檙e playing for MAN CITY.

Aston Villa weren鈥檛 even particularly good today and we still lost 2-1.. That鈥檚 the part that pisses me off the most. We made a very beatable team look comfortable because we couldn鈥檛 control the midfield or defend properly. This performance was on us.

The worrying thing about this Manchester City team is how easy we鈥檝e become to play against. Midfield gets bypassed, the defence gets exposed, and the attack looks disconnected. Everything is suffering because the team isn鈥檛 functioning as a unit. Enzo Maresca has serious work to do.

Dear Manchester City fans, we鈥檝e lost, and there鈥檚 nothing we can do about it now. We move. But I really hope Enzo Maresca has watched that game and understood how much needs to change. Gu茅hi鈥檚 mistakes are becoming a serious problem, Enzo Fern谩ndez offers us next to nothing defensively and leaves massive spaces in midfield, yet somehow he鈥檚 always on the pitch while Ayoub Bouaddi watches from the bench. Make it make sense. Our midfield has no control, our defence keeps making costly mistakes, and we鈥檙e making games harder for ourselves than they need to be. Maresca needs to take responsibility for these selections because this cannot continue. But one defeat doesn鈥檛 define our season, and I鈥檓 not giving up on this team. But we cannot keep ignoring these problems and expecting different results. We go again, Cityzens. 馃┑

Donnarumma and Gu茅hi have given us far too many reasons to worry about winning this season鈥檚 Premier League. Individual errors at this level are costly, especially when the rest of the team isn鈥檛 controlling games well enough to compensate. We cannot keep making basic mistakes and expect to get away with it.
