DEMOCRATS JUST TOOK SECOND IN LINE TO THE PRESIDENCY. Third in line too. The Presidential Succession Act puts the Speaker of the House behind the Vice President, then the president pro tempore of the Senate. Democrats won both chambers Tuesday. Hakeem Jeffries, the House Democrat leader, needs 218 votes on January 3 to take the Speaker's gavel, and the second name comes with it. The Senate chair goes by custom to the longest serving senator in the majority. Chuck Grassley of Iowa holds it now. He took it in January 2025 from Patty Murray of Washington, who has sat in that chamber since 1993 and is the most senior Democrat in it. Those two offices do one more job, and it is written into the 25th Amendment by title. When a President signs his powers over for a procedure, or when the Vice President and the Cabinet move to declare him unable to serve, the declaration goes to the Speaker and the president pro tempore. Those two. Nobody else. They did not just win the gavels. They won the mailing address. 💎

🚨 #UPDATE: Additional details have been released regarding the shooting at the Citibank building in Tampa, Florida. At 12:12 p.m., the first marked law enforcement unit arrived on scene and entered the building. At 12:15 p.m., an armed security guard employed by Citibank engaged the suspect in the cafeteria of the building. The two exchanged gunfire, and the suspect was shot. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The suspect's identity is still being confirmed and has not yet been released. This incident involved two shooters: the suspect and the Citibank armed security guard who engaged him.

My encouragement to Christians in America is to hold on to the promises of Scripture and pay closer attention to Bible prophecy than ever before. America’s growing distance from Israel fits the prophetic picture. In Ezekiel 38, Israel faces the invading coalition without military help from other nations. What we’re seeing today is straight out of the Bible’s description of the last days. When Jesus spoke to His disciples about what was to come, He told them, “See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet” (Matthew 24:6).
