Question for media, reporters, journalists, TV anchors: When Danielle Smith actually claims that students, children, are being groomed and transitioned during their class day…why are you not responding with facts? Why are you letting her spew these conspiracy theories?

We desperately need beds in AB. We don't need our premier trying to fool us that we have them. If we could even get back to the bed number we had in 2000 it would be a massive improvement. GoA: set a goal and then get it done!
Hey Alberta: is this incompetence or a full on intentional lie? 9003 Acute Care Spaces is NOWHERE near a record number for our prov In the late 1980s we had 17,790 acute care spaces in hospitals (~12,000 acute care beds, +LTC beds) 1988: 7.4 beds/1000 2026: 1.5 beds/1000 1/2

There is a reason the Cleopatra argument is so persistent. It is the only one available. Think about what it requires you to believe to maintain the position that ancient Egypt was not African: You have to believe that a civilization located on the African continent, surrounded by African populations, drawing on the Nile Valley civilizational complex that stretches deep into the African interior, sharing linguistic roots with other African language families, trading and intermarrying with Nubian kingdoms to the south for thousands of years... Was somehow not African. Was a separate category. A Mediterranean anomaly. An island of non-Africa on the African continent. That belief requires so much architectural maintenance. So many careful exclusions. So many reclassifications. So much sustained institutional effort. The Cleopatra argument is what you reach for when all of that architecture is under pressure and you need something that sounds like a fact. It is one true fact deployed in the service of a framework that cannot survive honest examination.

You’re done @ABDanielleSmith That you would pound down on children that already struggle to keep racists and bigots voting for your govt is sick. You’re sick. Call an election. Albertans never voted for your hate. @UCPCaucus

Cruelty as Policy.
A must read! Cruelty as Policy: Danielle Smith’s War on the Most Vulnerable Albertans. To read more via Substack (Prairies Exposed) open.substack.com/pub/prairi… "If you’ve ever been broke, truly broke, you know the feeling." "The quiet panic of staring at an empty fridge. The humiliation of choosing between rent and groceries or being put out on the street. The way every plan, every hope, every small ambition collapses because survival day by day takes all the oxygen in the room. Poverty is not a lifestyle choice. It is a trap." "Yet in Alberta today, Premier Danielle Smith and her United Conservative Party government increasingly treat poverty not as a social problem but as a moral failing—one deserving punishment rather than compassion." It is the Christian Nationalist way. Just saying!

“It cost us probably at the end of the day about $200 million in tax payer money to do this. That would’ve hired teachers, doctors, nurses, 7500 EAs on five year contracts for example. The feeling I got from Albertans crossing every corner of the province, from the Peace Country down to the US border, is people were saying why are we going through this?” rivercountry.fm/2026/10/22/n…

We do not deserve to be saved by First Nations who have been historically so wronged-- but thank you for living the treaties. As a Treaty 6 person (as three generations of settlers), I will try to live up to this level of courage and activism.
Alberta's Bill 54 - which would lower the signature threshold for referendums, inc. one on separation - was literally thrown on the ground and called "garbage" at a press conference in west Edmonton this afternoon. Chiefs say separation violates Treaties. #ableg #cdnpoli

The world has changed. There is no way of denying it. The post-1945 world order based on the rule of law, alliances and trust no longer can be relied upon. Canada must reinvest in our own security and we must develop new values based alliances. We are well positioned to lead.
Mark Carney on what Elon Musk's throttling of Starlink means for Canada: "We do not want to be caught in a situation where we are reliant on one provider that puts Canadians at risk or compromises our sovereignty, our ability to express our values and live our values."

Canada, understand this: 1) Doctors didn't build publicly funded healthcare. You did. 2) Most of you can't afford private, profiteer healthcare. 3) Doctors aren't going to fix this. We follow the money, just like you. 4) Only the public can save publicly funded healthcare.
Avi Lewis: "We must reverse the privatization of our healthcare system immediately."

Because @ABDanielleSmith @UCPCaucus don’t believe in the science. They believe that they are smarter than the most preeminent immunologists in the world. We don’t need vaccines…Smith swore by Ivermectin. They kill Albertans & overwhelmingly our ERs, this is who leads us.
Why do albertans have to pay for COVID vaccine (with a few exceptions)? The medical system here can’t handle outbreaks!

After briefly reporting 100%, Elections Alberta is now saying 99% … with four polls left to be counted. I salute the thousands of Albertans who spent hours and hours counting the ballots … while, at the same time, I condemn the government that put us through this nonsense.
