Promises made, promises kept.
We are beyond thrilled to announce we overwhelmingly voted in favor of unionizing on a 22-4 vote.
We won.
We've experienced furloughs, layoffs and almost 30 journalists leave the CJ in the last 13 months. Coincidence? We think not!

BREAKING: Trader Joe’s workers in Louisville are unionizing with @TraderJoesUnite.
It’s the first store in the South to join the Trader Joe’s union wave.
If they win, they’ll be the third-ever unionized Trader Joe’s, joining stores in Massachusetts and Minnesota.
We've let the most recent #Gannett layoff news simmer for a few days.
Guess what?
We’re still livid that @Gannett thought it would be wise to cut scores of journalists — particularly those in our sister guild, @MidwestDOTGuild.
For those in journalism, here's a list of open jobs. If you happen to be following us + hiring + don't see the listing in the thread, please add it.

We’ve fought 2 years for a fair contract.
McClatchy’s refusal to budge has forced our hand. It’s time to take further action.
