Want to win, don’t NEED to win.
Care deeply, commit fully, compete freely.
Competitive Joy.
NLCS MVP Jake Bauers shares how letting go of results helped him find a different level of freedom as a competitor.
"I think what changed for me this year was I stopped caring about results. I started caring about competing. I started caring about being in the moment and getting out of my own way."
Sometimes, the biggest obstacle to performing at your best isn't a lack of preparation or ability.
It's the pressure you place on yourself to produce a particular outcome.
You become so concerned with what you want to happen that you lose touch with what the moment actually requires.
Any performer can unlock a new level when they learn how to be fully invested in the competition without becoming imprisoned by the outcome.

Kid had two HRs, one of them was a grand slam. He signed that ball and gave it to his grandfather because he’s the one who thought him everything he knows about baseball. I ain’t crying, you’re crying

Most of you are just finding out the one in our house is a dude too. @BraylenwarrenQB
Both have great futures ahead of them on and off the field. They are kids playing a game.
Lots of great players on that field. Lots of great players in this state. Enjoy it!
Blockbuster video and little Caesars pizza was my every Friday night for a number of years. The nostalgia of that will sit with me for my entire life.
Remember when Friday nights meant walking the aisles of Blockbuster, picking out a movie and hoping your favorite wasn't already rented?
On this day in 1985, the first Blockbuster opened in Dallas, Texas, kicking off a video rental phenomenon that became a staple of American life.
The store launched with roughly 8,000 VHS tapes and eventually grew into a worldwide entertainment giant, before streaming and changing technology helped bring the Blockbuster era to an end.
Today, only one Blockbuster store is still standing.
Swipe through the iconic Blockbuster era.

In the next week, you’ll hear way too much about small markets and TV ratings. Give it a rest and appreciate this:
The 2026 World Series: the team with the best record in the National League vs. the team with the best record in the American League.

We couldn’t come to Globe Life Field without an appearance from the Dancing Queen herself!
First song on the radio this morning. I’m pretty sure @BTNHLive are @Rangers fans. Probably. #AllForTexas
