Productive creative session with hip-hop artist Minus the Alien and my partner in crime Brian Woods on one of Cleveland Time’s upcoming releases!
Long time in the works… but this record will be an all-new take on the jazz meets hip-hop sound! Look for it in 2027 🎙️🎷🎹

Today's #FlashbackFriday is to September of 1986, the release of the Academy Award Winning Round Midnight soundtrack. I had the pleasure of playing on that soundtrack with many noteworthy jazz talents...

Today would have been the birthday of jazz vibraphonist Roy Ayers, a noteworthy musician who left the concert far too soon. I hope you’ll join me in taking a moment to think of him today.

Today would've been the birthday of a man who needs no introduction, who left the concert far too soon: Mr. @sonnyrollins . Here we are back in 1978, at the White House Jazz Festival alongside McCoy Tyner .
He is greatly missed.
