Haven't heard much from the Miami Heat faithful in the building. They thought it was sweet.

Naz Reid does many things, but one thing that will be able to help the Hornets this year is holding his ground in the post against players like Giannis, as he forces him to travel in this possession.

Miami fans thought this would be a get-right game for the Heat, but it might turn out to be quite the opposite. Hornets up by seven with 4:29 left in the second quarter, looking much better than last night.

Good news: Christian Anderson Jr. checked in at the 6:19 mark of the first quarter. Bad news: He got trapped and turned the ball over.

In just a few years in Charlotte, Chef Robin Anthony has built an impressive résumé as a James Beard Award semifinalist, while his restaurants, Prime Fish and Omakase, have received Michelin Guide recommendations — but his path was anything but traditional.clture.org/prime-fish

The Hornets’ 47-point loss (128–81) to the Hawks was the worst home-opening defeat in franchise history, surpassing their 40-point loss to Cleveland in their inaugural home opener in 1988. Not a great way to open the season at home. Hopefully, they can bounce back against Miami.

Christian Anderson Jr. with a nice cut to the basket and dish from Ryan Kalkbrenner for the dunk and his first NBA points. One of the few highlights for the Hornets in the second half so far.
