Missed a 5.5R trade (A+ setup) yesterday because I was dicking around on my phone after lunch
Pain. I’ll learn from this lesson
Why is everyone talking about the Vest instant accounts like they're sick?
"You have more leverage"
Even NQ on a small live account and I've never had a problem
What crazy position sizes are you running that require more leverage?
Not to mention you can lose max 3% a day on Vest AND you only get 95% of your profits paid back to you AND the slippage/fills are worse
Makes no sense
If I was a Jewish guy I’d definitely sell a trading course / mentorship
All the comments are always “admin knowledge”, “source: source”
Genuinely think a lot of people would trust a Jewish guy with knowing how to trade markets before any other race (even if they dislike Jews)
Easiest $100k/month trading info offer ever
Average Sci trades defender
$946,000,000 in a single trade with the free version of TradingView
Makes sense 👍
First day “trading” on Vest and it’s been a no trade day for me
But had a 4.5R limit order trade on futures that I never got tagged into
On Vest that was a 2R trade 🤣
Price action on NQ on Vest is a lot different to actual NQ, doesn’t seem to be as good for scalping but will make a decision after a few more trades
I mean this is pretty cool but you're literally an affiliate for Vest who is likely on a retainer
The Vest badge is right there in your profile
I told Vest support "I am so stupid" and their reply surprised me
Picked Arbitrum instead of Base on a $1,596 withdrawal. Thought the money was gone. There is nothing I can do.
Messaged @VestExchange support.
Support team replied faster than my trades go against me 💀.
They said: "No problem, we all make mistakes."
Vest had every reason to say "not our problem."
Refunded in about 12 hours. Re-sent on Base, landed in my wallet. This is how support should work.
Vest is changing prop industry.

Took the weekend off trading / work for the first time in a while since I had my friend visiting me in Cyprus
Went out drinking, drove across the country to go cliff jumping and shit
Feeling way more locked in this week because of it
Sometimes you just need a break to reset your mind and go even harder again
Dudes will see their strategy hit 8 losses in a row during backtesting and think nothing of it
Then they have 3 losses in a row in the real markets and start freaking out and thinking their strategy is terrible
Starting at the charts for 5 hours and not taking a trade because nothing fits your plan should count as a green day imo
There’s probably no way you need to be taking more than 2 trades a day
If you are, either:
1. You’re breaking your rules
OR
2. You haven’t locked in your strategy enough to only select the best trades
Either way, you shouldn’t be taking more than 2 trades a day
It takes a very specific type of person to be a successful trader
You need to be delusional enough to think you can make it in a space where less than 1% of people succeed
But logical enough to have realistic goals, good risk management and to be brutally honest with yourself
Such a weird mix
Which is why I think so few people succeed with trading
My trading was terrible in summer
June was -5.07R
July was +1.24R
August was -6.15R
So far in September I’m at +3R and feeling way better in my trading
In summer it was like the price action wasn’t good for my strategy - I was going through a normal bad streak with my strategy
Which wouldn’t have been too bad if I just kept executing
But I allowed those losses to mess up my head a bit and started putting on bad trades to recover those losses, which obviously made it worse
I increased my trading workload from 1-3 hours a day to 4-5 hours a day alongside my freelance business and felt like I’ve progressed more in the last month than the previous 6 combined
Time to continue this work and end the year strong
Seeing how hard it is for my friends to get jobs is crazy
Even master degrees doing 100s of applications can’t get graduate roles in their fields
I don’t envy them, hard out here
Felt this
I’ve been good at so many things, but not sure if I’ve been “elite” at anything
I was a good footballer - but not good enough to go pro
I was smart in school - but never a standout student
Same with instruments, video games, the gym, learning languages - literally everything lol
Always been “above average” at anything I put my mind to but never stuck to any one thing long enough to become one of the best
I promised myself a while ago that I would make trading that thing for me
I don’t just want to get rich from trading…
I want to become elite at it.
I’ve been above average at a few things before.
I’ve repped 100kg bench.
I’ve had a YouTube channel hit 100k+ subscribers.
But I’ve never reached that next level.
I just want to know what it feels like to be truly great at something.
Just got wicked out at BE before a trade went straight to my TP for +3.5R
Not even mad, after a terrible June and taking a break for most of July I’m back positive and reading price so much better than I had been
Things are looking up 📈
Haven’t been trading much in the last few weeks
Had a bad month in June (-5R)
Then took a break this month because I was busy with work then took a trip back to Ireland
Back in Cyprus now though which means back to the grind
-0.3R so far for July but let’s end it on a positive 🔥
