Here is the issue. In CA, you DON’T have to provide EITHER a Social Security number or a Drivers License number when you register to vote. You can click a box that you don’t have either and you will STILL be registered to vote. Below is a screenshot of the online application.
In such case, you are given a unique voter identification. Then you are told that you “MAY have to show a form of identification or proof or residency the FIRST time that they vote.”
Herein is another problem. Proof of residency is NOT proof of citizenship. A gym membership or student ID (allowed as form of identification) is NOT proof of citizenship. Also, Drivers licenses are given to non-citizens and there have been mistakes made in the past where they were “accidentally” registered to vote.
Bottom line: There is no ACTUAL vetting of a person’s citizenship prior to them registering and voting.
Dem officials say “yeah but they have to attest under penalty of perjury that they are a citizen” and “it would be a crime if they did vote.” Yes, and people lie and break the law all the time! The immediate question becomes: How do you cross check to make sure?
Now we KNOW (from the recent arrests) that non-citizens HAVE VOTED in our elections, including an Indian citizen in Sacramento. Dem officials say: “yeah but it’s not widespread, so don’t worry about it.” That’s ludicrous. Prove it!
The only way is to review the voter roll and cross check it to ensure NO non-citizens are on the voter rolls. But the State REFUSES to turn the information over.
Turn over the list and allow a full audit and we’ll find out how widespread it is once and for all.

Here is the factual representation of BART's operational spending from 2020-2025. It actually increased 35% over 5 years, for an average of 7% per year. Inflation went up 20% during that 5 year period, so the net increase is around 3% spending increases while BART carried less than 50% of its pre-COVID ridership for 5 years.
I find it so hard that an organization like @SPUR_Urbanist would just run flat out lies in ads like they are.

I have been tracking Wajahat Ali for 23 years, ever since he first reached out to me as a young 20-something lawyer-playwright to pitch columns to the Daily Beast and other liberal media outlets.
Over this long game, he has embedded himself deep inside liberal Democratic politics, MSNBC, the New York Times and John Podesta and @neeratanden's Center for American Progress.
He is the symbolic political "monster" of the red-green aliance's Dr. Frankenstein (to mix just a few metaphors).
Wajahat Ali is a protege of Hatem Bazian, the academic at UC Berkeley who co-founded Students for Justice in Palestine and American Muslims for Palestine with one agenda: the destruction of the state of Israel.

Wajahat Ali is the son of immigrant felons from Pakistan who were found guilty of stealing MILLIONS of dollars from Microsoft as part of a transnational FBI investigation called OPERATION CYBERSTORM. They are out of jail now after serving years in prison.
The case was so big that then-FBI Director Robert Mueller himself appeared at the press conference.
Wajahat grew up in a life of luxury in Fremont, Calif., because of his parents' stolen wealth. I drove by his former house. Most Americans couldn't afford the life he knew. Wajahat has claimed his parents were the victims of "Islamophobia"
America's redemptive story means that a child wouldn't be held responsible for his parents' crimes but the threats in Wajahat's new post reveal that he is a man who isn't extending any form of redemption to his political enemies.
My reporting reveals that the Democratic Party is at this moment of threats expressed against it by a keyboard warrior called Wajahat Ali because the party fails to understand the dangers of placating the rabid anti-Israel demands of Linda Sarsour, Hatem Bazian, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Hasan Piker and the rest of the anti-semitic lobby that has one goal: "FREE PALESTINE" by replacing the state of Israel with a state called "Palestine."

DSA candidate Tim Denson tries to sell the crowd on “democratizing the workplace” and says Walmart should belong to the workers.
Big mistake. The guy 6 ft away from him grew up in Venezuela. And he’s heard this communist fairy tale before.
DANIEL DI MARTINO: “So you want to take it [Walmart] from its owners and have the workers do what?”
TIM DENSON: “I want the workers to own it and get paid better and have better benefits and be able to provide better lives for their families.”
DI MARTINO: “We can buy shares in Walmart right now. In fact, all of the SpaceX workers became millionaires overnight.”
“You can start a workers’ cooperative right now. It’s legal, but under a socialist country, you’re not allowed to own your own property and start your own private corporation.”
Denson tried to refute Di Martino’s point. Then Di Martino dropped this line on him:
DI MARTINO: “It’s very easy to be a socialist in a capitalist country. It’s illegal to be a capitalist in a socialist country. That is the difference.”
[audience applause]
Then it got personal:
DI MARTINO: “When I had to go to the grocery store, Tim, I had to put my fingerprint in a scanning machine so that they would tell me what I was allowed to purchase.”
“And I could only go Mondays and Saturdays because we have to ration food, because that’s what happens when there’s no profit motive and the farmers, their food is confiscated because they had to sell it to the government and everybody else at the price the government tells the farmers.”
“My mom made chocolate bonbons for parties.”
“Well, people have a right to chocolate, so we had a price control on chocolate.”
“So my mom had to buy counterfeit chocolate, put it in black bags as if we were cocaine drug dealers. That’s what socialism was in Venezuela. That’s what worker ownership of the means of production is.”
“Where has it ever worked?”
Denson had no answer. Because there isn’t one.

California has refused to work with the Federal Government to protect against noncitizen voting, which dilutes lawful votes, so @TheJusticeDept has filed an emergency application with the Supreme Court to require California to segregate mail-in ballots associated with more than 20,000 likely noncitizens until their citizenship can be verified.
We will continue pursuing every available legal avenue to protect the integrity of our elections and ensure federal law is enforced.

Mark DeSaulnier's last-weekend message to Contra Costa voters was a list from the ACLU of things to be afraid of at the polls.
Here is his pattern. On June 23, 2021 he posted that the filibuster, a Senate rule, "is an existential threat to our democracy." He has used that phrase for the climate, for Facebook, and for a procedural rule. When everything is existential, the word stops meaning anything.
Twelve years in Congress. More than 200 bills introduced. Two became law. One moved a park boundary in Martinez. The other renamed a post office in Richmond, which is not even in this district anymore. With two days left, he is not running on any of that. He is running on fear.
I signed the Principles for Trusted Elections on September 30. Every eligible voter votes once, every legal ballot gets counted, and the loser shakes hands. That is common sense, not partisanship.
