6. Roles and genres (IMPORTANT) ONLY list the roles and genres of work that you've already done. For example, only list "Penciller" if you've been a penciller (only) on a project, and be sure to list that project under "Works."

5. Ethnicity! For this field, I recommend listing ALL that may apply to you, in order to make yourself easy to find. Example: If you list yourself as "African American," you might want to use the tags "African," "American," and "Black" (and possibly others!).

4. Add a bio. The bio feature is for adding info that's not otherwise listed in the database, such as awards, degrees, or anything important to your career. (In fact, looking at my bio rn I realize I should probably add some of that stuff haha)

3. Add your location! This is helpful for folks looking for someone local to hire, among other things.

2. Allow people to contact you through the site. This makes it easy for people to give you jobs! If someone uses this feature, they will NOT receive your contact info unless you choose to reply. I NEVER share contact info from the database. (See the site's privacy statement)

1. Please consider adding an image link to your profile, especially if you're an artist! This is the easiest and quickest way to stand out in the database.
