Not a criticism of Timber at all (he's great) but his inclusion in the lineup is partially responsible for our weakened defence. He's getting up and down more, which has drastically improved our attack, but does mean we are far more open at the back. #CPFC

Sage’s assignment last night was to show a defensive structure and that the team were still fighting for him. I think both were showcased. Yes, we still conceded two but they weren’t the rubbish overload or 2nd/3rd phase goals we’ve seen against us all season. #CPFC

Our struggles are system-based rather than personnel. We are disastrous on the transition so our CBs (that aren’t suited to 3atb) are getting pulled all over the place. Richards and Disasi would be a solid pairing in a stable 4231, for example. The solution seems so easy. #CPFC
