Update the passport particulars linked to your OCI record before generating an e-OCI with the new details.
• Visit ociservices.gov.in/
• Select OCI Miscellaneous Services.
• Choose the relevant change of passport particulars option.
• Complete the form and upload the required documents.
• Once the application is granted, download your e-OCI showing the updated details.
Note:
1) Submitting an update request is not the same as approval.
Check the status and the details on the generated card.
2) Failing to update your new passport details within 90 days then a fee of $25 is liable.

Our Embassy in Riyadh @IndianEmbRiyadh and the Consulate in Jeddah @CGIJeddah are actively engaging with concerned airlines and tour operators to facilitate the early return of affected pilgrims. Over the past week, about 3,000 stranded Umrah pilgrims have travelled from Saudi Arabia back to India on available flights. This is in addition to more than 10,000 normal Umrah pilgrims who were booked on the available flights and have travelled back to India over the past week. Arrangements are being discussed to facilitate the return of other Umrah pilgrims at the earliest.
Our Embassy and Consulate, with the support from community volunteers are extending all possible welfare assistance. 24×7 Control Rooms have been established to help Indian nationals and regular advisories are being issued.

👉🏽 Travelling to India on an e-Visa?
Read the dates on your Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) carefully.
• Date of Issue: when the ETA was issued.
• Valid From: the beginning of the period in which you may seek entry.
• Valid Until: the end of that entry window.
Plan your arrival within the stated entry window.
Do not confuse the ETA's entry dates with permission to remain in India for the entire period shown.
Also check the number of entries allowed and the conditions governing each stay.
After immigration clearance, check your e-Visa stamp and ask the officer if anything is unclear.

Here’s how to update your passport details in your OCI Card records.
⚠️ Submit your update within 90 days of your new passport’s issue date.
⚠️ The process is online, paperless and free of charge. After 90 days, US$25 late fee will be applicable.
👉🏽 Log in at ociservices.gov.in.
👉🏽 Select Online Registration, then OCI Miscellaneous Services.
1. Enter the passport number currently linked with your OCI Card, your OCI Card number and date of birth.
2. Select Passport Particulars Updation.
3. Fill in the application, upload a copy of your new passport, review your details and submit.

It is NOT a visa and does not replace your valid passport or the applicable visa/OCI documents.

The 7th India UAE Joint Committee on Consular Affairs meeting co-chaired by Secretary (CPV& OIA) Smt. Sripriya Ranganathan and Undersecretary @mofauae Omar Obaid Mohammed AlHesan Al Shamsi, was held in New Delhi today.
Both sides agreed to continue to deepen bilateral cooperation in all consular matters including mobility, extradition and mutual legal assistance, in keeping with the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Indian side appreciated the measures being taken to ensure welfare and well being of the Indian community in the UAE.
