Will Hays in 1922:
We just made a promise no Hollywood studio has ever made. No sex or nudity on screen, no F-word, and no misuse of God's name in Angel originals. And 3 million Guild members get a veto on everything before it ever lands on Angel.
Parents shouldn't have to sift through a dozen movies to find one they can watch. That's why we made the Angel Promise. foxnews.com/media/angel-stud…

The time line of NJO and the kinberg trilogy in my eyes:
Damon Lindelof was hired to write a new Jedi order movie about and older Rey. Was eventually fired and they cycles through other writers and eventually hired and announced it with Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy to direct it. It was gonna star Daisy as Rey mentoring two duo leads. I know he was meant to have a bad boy persona and she was a perfectionist. Along with the various movies about the film.
In nov of 24 they announced that Simon Kinberg was hired to write a post-sequel trilogy. In 2025 nolfi was hired to rewrite the NJO movie. . Around late 2025 nolfi left the project, and kinberg was reported to heavily rework the story with Lucasfilm.
In the last few months I started to get details about kinberg 1. Lots of the rumors about NJO still sounded consistent with kinberg 1. I also got details for the casting. Once again, male and female leads. The guy had a bad boy persona and the goal was a perfectionist.
To me it is kinda evident that njo just morphed into what the kinberg trilogy is going to be. To me you can tell that just based off of the rumors we have heard for both projects. I reckon at first NJO was meant to be a bridge with kinberg following it, but now it has just taken that story as part of its own.
So if rumors like the your name influence for NJO were true, I think they could also be true for this new version.
Martin Scorsese reveals that he was close to doing a Cleopatra movie with Angelina Jolie as Cleopatra, but they had to cancel it because Seth Rogen made fun of Kim Jong Un, who didn't have a sense of humor.
Francesca Scorsese: I feel like you've always wanted to make a big Roman epic. You were supposed to do Cleopatra.
Martin Scorsese: And then they made fun of Kim Jong Un, remember? And he got mad and he blew up everybody at Columbia.
Francesca Scorsese: Oh, that movie. Yeah, Seth Rogen, right?
Martin Scorsese: Seth. And then they ruined Cleopatra. We were going to do it, everything was ready on the script. Angelina Jolie was going to be Cleopatra VII. I'm so mad about it. Just because Kim Jong Un didn't have a sense of humor.

In fact I was in Ramallah and elsewhere in the West Bank last year. Had hoped to spend some time in Gaza on this visit but not possible.

Okay its super easy? Bruce becomes Batman at 18-20. Conceives Damian at 21 and same year takes a 12 year old Robin Dick. Has a career with Robin until Dick leaves to become Nightwing at 17-18 while he's 27-28. Has Jason for a year or 2 from 29-30 he dies and Bruce mourns until 33
David Corenswet is 33 years old
If Batman is roughly his age, that means the DCU is giving us a 33-year-old Bruce Wayne who has somehow already trained Dick Grayson, buried Jason Todd, and had a 12-year-old biological son with Talia al Ghul.
The crazy part is people are arguing over who should play him, but the real question is how James Gunn fits 15 years of Bat-family lore into a Bruce Wayne who was still in college when Damian was born
Getting sniped out of the blue and put in ICU is not losing a fight. JFK served in the military. He probably had his fair share of fights. He did not “lose a fight“ to Lee Harvey Oswald lol. This is what I mean, when I said this stuff is not confusing.

Of future Star Trek shows was forever changed.
Star Trek became an ensemble piece because people like Walter Koenig put so much heart, humor and love into their smaller roles that we all came to accept that they were all stars of the show we loved.

I have faith this will be good but pretty bummed by the visuals here –– stylized production design benefits from strong sets and locations, but many of Gerwig's images are sadly textureless and garishly digital. Lots of people standing around VFX backdrops. It's a little ugly!

I took the app for a test run around Chicago and wow
So I recently badgered my cinematographer @steveyedlin into making my ideal iPhone still camera app. It shoots RAW, bypasses the iPhone's look processing and instead uses the same image processing we use on our movies. apps.apple.com/app/apple-sto…
Yeah same, I’ve not been entirely sold on the “next generation with her as mentor because she’s either a year younger now or the same age as Harrison was when he made the original movie, but “star cross lovers (from the jump)“ is an interesting angle that serves JW well
My brother in Christ, they are literally seven years apart. This is the exact opposite of what that means.
Replying to @DCdaily @SupesandSabers
Wait, Superman and Batman being close in age could also mean a Robert Pattinson DCU merger is possible? 👀🌚

To celebrate DC Super-Villain month, we've decided to lay down the law on whether The Suicide Squad is canon in the DCU - and discuss other behind-the-scenes fun facts along the way in a new Official The Suicide Squad "Is It Canon?" Unpopular opinion apparently but I think this rules. Yes continuity stuff is always tedious, but this makes it fun. I wholeheartedly endorse this thing.
