More gas means more asthma, more #climate chaos, and higher bills for MA ratepayers! Stand up for #EnvironmentalJustice by including a halt to gas system expansions in an omnibus bill @SenatorBarrett #mapoli #PutGasInThePast @mapowerforward @MOF_Mass @Jo_Comerford @MindyForMA

Lots of good news about climate mitigation in this article. Also highlights that MassSave is run by the utilities and is more concerned with weatherization and cost savings than electrification which needs to change in order to meet decarbonization goals. bostonglobe.com/2023/10/25/s… – at Burien, WA

No freaking way. The Northeast is rapidly moving to electrification and heat pumps, moves that will lower costs and save our climate. We don’t need a notorious climate villain like Enbridge trying to supersize their pipelines to flood us with more methane gas.
#ICYMI: The owner of one of the largest natural gas pipelines in the Northeast is looking to substantially expand it. If approved, this proposed -- dubbed "Project Maple" -- would bring more gas into a region that's actively trying to decarbonize. wbur.org/news/2023/09/22/enb…

This is where we look to our @MassGovernor to do all she can to stop such expansion and exercise her climate leadership. @MothersOutFront @MOF_Mass
NEW: A proposal from fossil fuel giant Enbridge would substantially expand one of the Northeast's largest gas pipelines to bring more gas into the region The proposal comes as many states are actively trying to cut their fossil fuel dependence wbur.org/news/2023/09/22/enb…

If the proposed expansion goes forward, private jet emissions from Hanscom alone could cancel up to 70% OF THE CLIMATE BENEFITS of ALL the solar PV EVER INSTALLED in Massachusetts. Private luxury jet expansion- a luxury our climate can't afford! spje.org @MOF_Mass – at Somerville, MA
