Sources: Le Moyne College is on the cusp of joining The Metro Conference in all sports starting in 2027-28. The sides are deep in discussions with The Metro (formerly the MAAC), and a deal is expected to come together in the near future. Le Moyne is leaving the NEC.

This probably isn’t much of a stretch here, but I love @dhurley15 and his coaching style. This @UConnMBB has a lot of the same attributes that b-b title teams had. Biggest things though their size and shooting ability is A++. If they stay healthy they will win the 🏆

Came across this on FB just now. Crosby #ctbb assistant coach Larry Devito underwent open heart surgery. Sending prayers and best wishes to a guy who bleeds Crosby blue, but even more kids respect. Guy is as tough as nails, and love teaching the game. Get well coach. 🫡

That’s def something to chew on huh @RMoyer97. When you think about it #NVL 16 football teams, other sports you have 15. Except for Kennedy/crosby/naugy/Hc/Torrington you’ve got S or SS. Sprinkle in L or D1-D2 for some teams per sport, it’s mainly small school/SS league.

Could Gilbert, Housy, Northwestern, Terryville, Thomaston, and Shepaug become a division within the NVL? It would give them crossovers with other class S and M schools. The travel from a Housy to Derby would be a lot though

Nonnewaug & Lakeview apart of the #NVL in ‘27-‘28? The potential move is being discussed to the Naugatuck Valley League, as the remaining teams (6) may need to explore joining another conf. Any proposal to join a diff conf is due by Dec 1st [save the date].
