⚠️ Effective at 4PM today, the emergency order prohibiting commercial vehicle travel on Connecticut roads has been lifted.
Motorists are still strongly urged to avoid driving for the remainder of the day on Monday and use absolute caution if they must travel.

⚠️ I have signed an emergency order prohibiting all commercial vehicles from traveling on all limited access highways statewide in Connecticut.
This order takes effect at 5PM today and will remain in effect until further notice. We will provide updates on this order as needed.

Ahead of Thanksgiving, there’s increased enforcement across CT in partnership with @CT_STATE_POLICE and @CTDMV. Yesterday in a Windsor work zone, CSP stopped drivers for violating the #SlowDownMoveOver law, with one driver going almost 110 MPH.
