When Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans cut healthcare and food assistance, Gov. Lamont and CT Democrats swiftly created an emergency fund to blunt the impact to CT families.
Not only did Ryan Fazio vote no, he’s doubling down - pushing for more cuts to healthcare programs.
On stage tonight, we saw Ryan Fazio try and fail to spin his way out of 5 years of votes undermining CT families.

When a private-equity-backed hospital chain collapsed, several community hospitals were on the brink of closure. Governor Lamont and lawmakers from both parties worked to keep the hospitals open. But, when it was put to a vote, Ryan Fazio voted no.

Ryan Fazio opposes actually building housing in Connecticut to lay the foundations for a more affordable future for CT families.
You can't claim to be running on affordability if you don't have a real plan for housing.
Ryan Fazio called Roe v. Wade “offensive to the rule of law.” And when Connecticut moved to protect reproductive healthcare from out-of-state attacks, Fazio voted against those protections.
When it comes to fundamental freedoms, we can’t trust Ryan. It’s that simple.

Gov. Lamont won't shy away from bipartisan ideas that help CT communities thrive. But Ryan can’t make the same claim. He voted no on the bipartisan budget that sent historic investments to our school districts, cities, and towns.
Worse, he did it because it was campaign season.
Governor Lamont pushed for and signed legislation setting new privacy standards and safety rules for social media and AI companies.
Ryan Fazio was one of only FOUR senators who voted against it.
