GREAT NEWS
My ongoing campaign to limit the number of people retweeting this image and causing any upset to Jacob Rees-Mogg has made great progress I am now so confident that nobody will RT it that I am going to tag in @Jacob_Rees_Mogg so he can see how well we're doing.
Thanks

Above all, do not despair. When you ask yourself, “What can I do, just one person against this tide?” begin by placing your heart with those who suffer, and it will tell you what you should do. Even that very act of spiritual alignment will be felt and recognized by others. /end

For about a year and a half, I worked at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum here in D.C. as a visitor services representative. On my first day, I was walking with my supervisor, who nudged me at one point and said: "See that guy? That's Henry. Make sure you talk to him." (thread)

A 🧵 on white privilege, and the way it operates on your behalf without you ever even needing to think about it.
We travelled to a small family gathering for Christmas; it was about a 13 hour drive. On the way home, our youngest, 2, began to feel sick and then to run a fever.

This is seriously f'd up: at-will workers quit their jobs for higher pay, old employer asks court to block them from starting said new jobs until they can re-hire, judge grants injunction preventing them from starting their new jobs. AT-WILL WORKERS.
