If you think about it, zcash:native at 20B is half of what Terra Luna was at its peak (40B).
Repeating: The #1 Privacy coin is worth half today of what a ponzi stablecoin scam was at its peak.
So in the most bearish case, you have to double or even triple current price if you assume bitcoin will enter a bull market.
Spot $ZEC ETFs hit 8-day inflow streak!
Despite a difficult wider market, spot @Zcash ETFs are performing.
The products have seen nothing but inflows since October 20, already up +$22M on the week.
That said, after a vicious streak of outflows, spot Zcash ETFs are down -$41.68M for the month of October.
It's very hard to chart solana:HcRLc9VDgjLeK154xDawfb1dmVJ98DoSqcwTHGqiDeJR because if zcash:native were to vertically rise to $2,000, all predictions would be off the table for how high it can go.
In that sense, it is the most asymetrical trade because you know at some point BTC will turn around and this will happen.
Largest crypto hack in history & zec looks unfazed
I’m incredibly convicted that zcat is a generational play given how it’s positioned
hold zcat get rewarded zec.
My thoughts on solana:HcRLc9VDgjLeK154xDawfb1dmVJ98DoSqcwTHGqiDeJR / $ZEC here
The Hyperliquid news today is very exciting, and I think the current onchain activity reflects that
In today's onchain environment, it's incredibly difficult for memes to manufacture and maintain attention
This is why I'm so bullish on crypto reflection tokens. They benefit from the momentum and attention of whichever underlying asset they're attached to
I think it's safe to say HYPE and ZEC have the potential to command some of the most mindshare this cycle, given that both have legitimate use cases and increasingly strong narratives
I went through and listed some of the catalysts we've seen for ZCAT so far
• ZEC appreciation — Attracts capital and attention to the broader Zcash narrative
• Zcash leadership recognition — Provides cultural legitimacy and strengthens the association between ZCAT and ZEC
• ZEC shielding from Solana — Bridges two ecosystems and introduces Zcash to a new audience
• Solana influencers supporting ZEC — Creates potential distribution and exposure for ZCAT
• Stonk platform — ZCAT can capitalize on the stonk platform gaining both marketshare/support within the solana eco
• ZCAT rewards mechanism — Creates an economic connection to ZEC, hold ZCAT, get rewarded ZEC
The biggest advantage here is that ZCAT doesn't have to manufacture all of its own attention. It can benefit from a much larger narrative that already exists
If ZEC becomes one of the defining trades of this cycle, I think there's a compelling case for ZCAT becoming one of the primary onchain expressions of that trade
That's the bet, the cat stays anonymous
One thing no-one has mentioned is that solana:HcRLc9VDgjLeK154xDawfb1dmVJ98DoSqcwTHGqiDeJR has front-run moves in zcash:native by hours almost every single time.
Today shown weakness and was going below $40M before ZEC got nuked. Then went up before ZEC rebounded. Has done this daily.
This shows that it's more than a meme, it's a risk on/off indicator that smart money (big traders) are using. As soon as market flips, it will be the first mover.
Check the correlation.
A good thesis for solana:2gLhk8p2KvUFeUXur2hiF4hxjdRM1vBcbgo9Q7DMZfiw
They take a fee on every trade and have mathematical limits for position size to not deplete the pool. It's a closed-room short-term prediction that doesn't impact price of the memecoin on the market. No counterparty risk since its all settled in SOL.
More volume = more fees = more burns, that's literally the only thing needed. As more users come, the value of the token increases exponentially. And the good part is that as market is down, demand only increases.
As market is up, their ability to offer leverage will also drive more traders there. There are many millions of small traders this appeals too, all the markets have been focused on big caps and there is no-one that was able to create shorts.
Today's email integration makes it so you don't even need to know how to make a wallet to deposit. Your coworker can short crypto today with 2 buttons. The market is not pricing this in by many millions, until it does fast.

1) The domain for this new launchpad by @benleventhal is "mmmmmm.market" (yes it's literally someone holding down their m key on their keyboard.)
2) The logo for the site is a Mcdonalds logo (stolen IP)
3) This is a launchpad to launch food items, the fees go partially to restuarant. There are infinite number of restaurants and food items are the same so there are infinite PVP
4) Hold $1,000 get a few pennies in FLY token (yes almost nothing)
5) Hyped up by very successful VC & crypto business people as the new way to bring stores on-chain with RWA. What got me interested was the most LP (none of those tokens will have that)
I can vibe-code a better launchpad with Claude in 30 minutes than this. I only lost a bit but I would imagine if this was stocks and not crypto, you would get sued into oblivion.
Shame Shame Shame

A big-time grift by @benleventhal. He gave so much hype for $PIZZA just to introduce a launchpad at the end, lol.
Yeah bro, nice launchpad with the dumbest domain ever. Now, as he extracts fees, he’ll intentionally launch his own coins and just drop food emojis to grift others off the fees on his launchpad.
Epic failure.
Also, nobody uses that dumb Blackbird app, and if you hold $1000 of $PIZZA, you’ll make like $0.13 in Fly coin.

Pizza tokens are a flop because there are a million food items so the dilution is immense and each one is associated with a specific restaurant.
How could you invest in one restaurant knowing that there are another few million that will do the exact same thing?
The idea was good if Pizza was the eco-system token but there is no flywheel or value accrue to it, its important for 24 hours as the restaurant makes front-stage and then that's it.

No hard feelings. It's hard for people to understand the full picture with only an outside view.
But reactive building doesn't win. Need to ignore noise and stay true to the north star.
fomo went from being dismissed as “temu monshot” to being accused of faking its numbers when it hit 600K users
Recently people started to victory lap every time there was a dip in onchain volume.
Meanwhile fomo has been a step ahead every time cuz they aren't competing for a bigger share of the same small pie.

There is nothing special about this pullback.
Much of the panic surrounding neoclouds, AI capital expenditures, and the sustainability of the infrastructure buildout is simply the market searching for explanations for falling stock prices.
When AI stocks were rising, record capex was evidence of extraordinary demand. When those same stocks started falling, suddenly the same spending became evidence of an impending financial disaster.
One fact with two interpretations that depend entirely on the price action of the market.
Go back to August 1998.
The technology bull market had been running for about three years.Amid fallout from the Asian financial crisis and Russian ruble crisis, earnings expectations were deteriorating, valuations were elevated, and investors were becoming increasingly concerned about unprofitable Internet companies.
On August 6, the New York Times published an article titled "Market Gyrations May Point to Shift in Investor Strategy." One fund manager declared, "Boring is going to outperform sexy."
Investors were supposedly abandoning momentum and speculative technology shares in favor of profitable businesses, balance sheets, dividends, and traditional valuations.
Russia defaulted on its debt. The Asian financial crisis was spreading internationally. The yen carry trade had imploded as the USD plunged 8% against the yen in a single day. US embassies were being bombed.
President Clinton ordered missile strikes against Afghanistan and Sudan while simultaneously facing a scandal that would result in his impeachment. Major financial institutions suffered enormous losses, and the spectacular collapse of Long-Term Capital Management threatened the stability of the global financial system.
Corporate earnings forecasts were falling. Investors feared a U.S. recession. Many of the same technology companies that had driven the bull market were now leading the decline. Many of them had fallen 40-60% from their 1998 highs.
Even the Federal Reserve's first interest-rate cut on September 29 initially disappointed investors. The Dow fell that day and plunged another 238 points the following session.
The news seemed almost uniformly terrible.
But the market didn't care forever.
After a violent reversal in early October, improving confidence in corporate earnings, Japanese banking reforms, and a surprise emergency Fed cut on October 15 helped restore risk appetite.
By November, the Dow was making new all-time highs. Internet stocks were exploding higher again.
What had looked like the end of the internet trade was, within about a month, actually a correction preceding one of the most extraordinary speculative advances in stock-market history.
In today’s market, Microsoft just reported 48% Azure growth. Google Cloud revenue more than doubled. Meta expects $135–145 billion in capex this year and has announced plans for a potentially record-sized $97.5 billion equity capital raise.
If the market really was that concerned over capex spending, instead of using it as an excuse to explain the pullback, the market would have sold off on the META news.
Anthropic has now filed its IPO registration statement. We have midterm elections approaching, another consequential round of earnings, and a Fed that just held rates steady even as another hike is widely anticipated in December.
There are plenty of potential catalysts over the coming two months.
More importantly, this does not resemble the sentiment backdrop of a speculative bubble climax. Generational bull markets don't die midway through a basing period, but typically after euphoric saturation and a parabolic rally in leading names.
Consensus on AI is deeply divided. Being loudly anti-AI has practically become fashionable. Some AI critics have even built enormous audiences around the idea that the economics of the industry are unsustainable. Plenty of investors seem almost eager to watch the entire trade collapse.
That isn't the sentiment or narrative around which tops are typically made.
The Internet trade didn't end in the panic of 1998. It ended after the extraordinary acceleration of 1999 and early 2000 when being bearish was the market equivalent of wearing a dunce cap.
History never repeats perfectly, and today's rate environment is very different. But I think the resemblance in investor psychology is striking.
I’d be genuinely surprised if we don't have at least one more months-long rally into new highs during this cycle.
Whether it begins into the midterms, after the elections, around Anthropic's anticipated listing, or following further earnings confirmation, I suspect this correction will eventually look more like an interruption in a generational bull market than the bursting of a "bubble."
The $NDX took four months to bottom in 1998. With the exception of a handful of leaders, most stocks that are holding up have been basing out since the May-July period. We could certainly go lower, but most of the signs point to another new high before this cycle rolls over.
However, I’d place the odds of any additional powerful rallies afterward as increasingly unlikely given the fact we are already about to enter the fifth year of this bull market. I'd be careful about buying the dips next year, at least with meaningful size.
