We had fun celebrating 350 years of Currituck County today. What a special event - and perfect weather. The horses have been a part of Currituck since before it was even called Currituck!
Forgot to tweet this earlier...good morning! 😂🤦♀️ Hope everyone had a great first day of November. It was beautiful here on the Outer Banks!
Let us introduce you to Ducky, Mateo, Virginia Dare, Bonita, Ocean Pearl, and Kitty Hawk - our "Renegade Six:" corollawildhorses.com/six-of…
Thank you for the donation of pumpkins, Southern Shores @FoodLion! The horses at the rescue farm had fun, and so did the Wolf Pack 4-H Club kids. 🎃
#TBT Top photo was taken in the 1990s and bottom is a recent photo of our Amadeo. Not the same horse but the similarities are striking! Good Banker genes. ☺️
What a week it’s been. ☀️ Beautiful weather, great surf, lots of things to do all up and down the beach - fall is a wonderful time to be on the Outer Banks! Come Meet a Mustang tomorrow from 2pm-5pm at CWHF headquarters - 520 Old Stoney Rd.
Good morning! Gonna be a beautiful day. ☀️ Come see us tomorrow at Morris Farm in Barco. We’ll be there with a few rescued horses starting at 11am. (📸: Danny Myers)
This week Meet a Mustang will be held on Thursday, at the lighthouse in Corolla. We’re participating in Deaf Awareness Day and hope to see you there! Starts at 11am.

The biggest danger to NC's wild horses isn't a powerful hurricane. It's people. bit.ly/2MYnQsw @CWHF1
Please don’t do this. It is illegal, dangerous, and could lead to the horses’ removal from the wild. Stay 50 feet (OR MORE) away. The horses are not props for your selfies. 😣

Lots of people are asking about the Shackleford horses. They are unable to access the herd right now but will do so as soon as they can. Please be patient and stay tuned for updates. #Florence
