In some markets you end up screwing people over by stranding them with no ability to make other plans to catch a flight.
It's sad when people want to be the first to share something with no disregard for the people involved or their family.
It's all about being first, and in the age of social media, it's not limited to actual news outlets anymore.

What struck me most about it was how "not rough" the place was, punctuated by the young couple next to me doting over their brand new puppy.

This is heartbreaking. Terry was part of the reason I got into media. His early days with Dan McNeil were my formative years, then the decade-plus with Dan Bernstein was the best sports radio show I've ever heard.

It's the lead-up to @wser and @hardrock100 lottery weekend... so obviously it's the week those with two or four tickets offer up the same takes/complaints they had last year... and the year before...
