CYCD delivered a mental health day workshop in collaboration with @revolutonarts to prioritise and support wellbeing. We showcased stress releif activities, wellness resources, had special guests speakers and provided opportunities for community and connection. This event was especially important to say thank you to our wellbeing consortium volunteers and co- ordinators. It was wonderful to see so many people come together and share their experiences. #luton #mentalhealth #community #arts #uk

A Meaningful Conversation for a Great Cause! Today, we had the pleasure of coming together for a round table discussion with Mr Asaduzzaman Sayem, Executive Director of UK Bangladesh Education Trust UKBET who joined us during his visit from Sylhet, Bangladesh. UKBET does incredible work supporting working children and vulnerable young people in Sylhet, creating opportunities, supporting communities and helping young people build a brighter future. Link to their website: ukbet-bd.org LINK TO VIDEO: drive.google.com/file/d/1RW6… (also linked in Instagram Bio) Today’s discussion was a wonderful opportunity to hear about UKBET’s experiences, achievements and challenges, share knowledge and explore opportunities for collaboration, partnership and mutual support. We look forward to continuing to support UKBET and its amazing work and to building stronger connections between our communities in the UK and Bangladesh. 🇬🇧🇧🇩 A big thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such an inspiring and informative discussion.
