When @wxbrad says that the sun is key in helping melt the snow and ice here in North Carolina, this is what he means, only one side of this road in CLT receives direct sunlight.

Snow flurries in the South Park Area. #cltwx #ncwx
We are getting surface reports of flurries now with the back edge of this virga. Don't be shocked to see a few flakes this evening; no impacts, though. #snOMG #cltwx #ncwx #scwx #wcnc

Over the years, I’ve built up a toolkit of automations and tricks from the many projects I’ve worked on. Now I’m starting to share them- Use GitHub Actions to automatically rebuild and publish a container when the upstream image is updated. cocallaw.com/posts/Automatin… #devops

dotnet friends - I have a set of configured instances of complex types, using them as an in-memory repository. fastest/dirtiest path to persist them? here's an example. maybe 200 of this size of object I want a quick and dirty persistence that's easy and non-intrusive. data is small enough to load in-memory (as it's all in-memory today) and mostly config data that doesn't churn much. app doesn't change the data. what's the fastest path? serialize to json and store in blobs, deserialize on startup?
