Alright... Story time, then a question. A while back (about a year ago), I woke up to a ban on @Tinder . Remarkably surprising, considering that I had also been banned on @bumble a short time before that. Now, with Bumble, I was less broken hearted, as I wasn't having a terribly large amount of success, and I had figured that it was a disgruntled match that didn't like me. I thought I knew who it was, so I dismissed it and went on about my day. Then a few months later, I get the tinder ban, which was completely out of the blue. All of my pictures were within standards, and as a rule, I don't send any inappropriate messages (no d*** pics, none of that). So Imagine my surprise. Now, in the event of something like this happening, the Tinder "Support" center directs you to the appeal center. When I contacted them by email, they said the same thing. Only problem is that I was never able to log into the appeals center. There was never an option to appeal anything. At this point, I decided to contact Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge (the tinder ban affects ALL match group companies- Match, POF, Tinder, @hinge , etc). NONE of them were willing to tell me anything about specific violations. They all just said I violated the TOS. They refused to tell me how or when. No specifics. Upon consultation from my friends, conjecture arose that there's a strong possibility that my ex may have "revenge reported" me. I don't really want to believe that's true, but who knows. In any event, the bans are totally unwarranted, and what's worse, I get nowhere with their "customer service" (AI) departments. I'm a good dude. I don't deserve this. Especially living in a place where initiating face to face conversation is grounds for a harassment lawsuit and public cancellation. Now, onto the question. Can any of you tell me what my potential recourse would be? Am I just screwed for dating apps now? Can anything be done?

Dear @FedEx and @FedExHelp , Your AI online service and phone options are f***ing useless. Please go back to hiring real people to actually troubleshoot and man phone lines. I can't get a package that is somewhat time sensitive because your delivery drivers don't even attempt to follow instructions. And I can't get it held at a location (even as a paid option) because it's "ineligible to hold at location." Your AI system won't let me speak to anyone with a pulse. Clean it up!

So, I'm starting to wonder if I'm TRULY just unmarketable. As concerned with dating. I'm 40 years old, no interest in having children, but not opposed to blending into a family (I'm a realist, the odds of me finding a young lady who's single with no kids and doesn't want any is slim). On top of all that, I don't really have a relationship with God in any capacity. Meaning, I'm not religious, nor do I truly believe. Was brought up somewhat religious, but it has eluded me. I have my reasons, but that's not the point. "Modern dating issues" aside, some days it feels like I have a lot more working against me than for me. It's weird. Like, I'm a decent dude with a good head on his shoulders, and i'm overall pretty fun to be around. Not perfect obviously, but you catch my drift. Interesting spot to be in, in the prime of my life, lol.

So for my own reasons, I’m not really a praying man. But one of my close buddies, Matt, is in need of it. He’s an absolute gem of a dude, and for the last month and a half, life has been raining shit on him and his family a little bit. This guy could not be less deserving of struggle. Just found out he hospitalized himself for symptoms consistent with a small heart attack a day ago. You don’t have to reply to this, or any of that. Her birthday (today) is always kinda tough for me. Genuinely. Always feel like things should be different, and I should be celebrating with her. I constantly think, “what if I did it a little differently, and I could have fixed it.” Oh well. But then there’s that other part of me that takes solace in knowing that she’s struggling a little bit without being able to stand on my shoulders and call herself tall. Anyway..
