Republicans would gladly get rid of Trump to put JD Vance in that seat. They would then completely distance themselves from Trump and his family and reunite those Republican voters that voted blue. If you give Vance a chance to stabilize this economy, he’s going to.

They accuse us of identity politics, but Black voters show up for everybody. Texas didn’t get its first Latina governor because her own demographic unified; it happened because Black turnout delivered the decisive margin, extending a loyalty other groups rarely reciprocate. Now let’s see if Governor-elect Hinojosa repays that debt at the governing table. And let’s see if the Latino community FINALLY wakes up to build real power with us instead of working against their own self-interest.

The Wall Street Journal reports that after First Lady Melania Trump complained about people she knew getting deported, the president would tell aides that the architect of his aggressive immigration campaign, Stephen Miller, had gone too far.
Republicans in Texas and Florida privately complained to the White House as well.

Democrats won both the House and Senate, and one of the first things we heard from a top House Democrat was “lawyer up.”
Rep. Robert Garcia is already talking about investigating President Trump’s family business dealings and Elon Musk’s role at DOGE. Rep. Delia Ramirez publicly named former Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino and told him to clear his schedule. I see those warnings as a threat to weaponize congressional power against President Trump, his family, and his allies. And I’m concerned about how far this could go. Will independent voices like Nick Shirley be next?
How does any of this make groceries more affordable, make our streets safer, or secure our border?
And yes, I’m holding Republicans accountable too. The GOP had the House, the Senate, and the White House. In my view, they failed to pass the laws we needed to protect Americans. Meanwhile, some of the same influencers who showed up at CPAC, built their brands off the movement, and asked for your money turned on President Trump. I’ve said it over and over again. A social media following does not make you a grassroots leader. The people doing the work in our communities are still there when the cameras leave.
I also want Democrats to explain where they stand on the Muslim Brotherhood and how they’ll protect the right of Americans to speak out against extremism. Political disagreements should never put a target on anyone’s back.
I’m worried about what the next two years could mean for our taxes, our retirement savings, and whether working families can afford to own property. I oppose communism, and I’ll challenge policies that give Washington more control over what Americans earn, save, and own.
What kind of life are we leaving the next generation if owning a home and retiring with dignity keep slipping further out of reach? That’s what I want Congress to answer.
I need to see the true breakdown for Florida in a cpl of days because I know what white ppl voted for, and I know how black women voted, but the other three demographics I need to see.
