Also great to see increased smoking cessation in the #NHS10yearplan. @LungHealthCheck is the first to co-locate smoking cessation and #LungCancerScreening in a community setting. Over 90% of smokers agreed to see our SCPs last month as part of the @YESSstudy. @yorkshirecancer

#NHS10yearplan also focusing on early diagnosis of COPD. Since Nov, 62 people found to possibly have undiagnosed COPD at their @LungHealthCheck and referred to the Community Respiratory Team - that's about 1 in 5 of all participants. @LeedsHospitals @LCHNHSTrust @yorkshirecancer

Great to see the emphasis on early diagnosis of cancer in the #NHS10yearplan. Its release coincided with the busiest day yet for the @LungHealthCheck team. A record 156 telephone health checks on Monday alone before our visit to @ASDA Middleton in 2 weeks. @yorkshirecancer
