I'd like to congratulate countless foreign-born workers everywhere from the NHS to the buses on silently graduating from 'unskilled & welcome' to 'intrinsic & invaluable'. I expect Priti Patel to join me any minute now.

An insult to our European friends and neighbours - this kind of crude triumphalism makes the English look, boorish and insular. You happy with that Ms Jenkyns?

Q to my PLP candidate
"I am a Remainer
Can you tell me why I should vote Labour please?
Mr Corbyn is “neutral” on the greatest crisis this country has faced since WW2
How do I know that a vote for Labourwill not be seen as an endorsement of a Labour Brexit as it was in 2017?"

"To end the free movement of people - once and for all." From an immigrant who has prospered here I find this terrifying - straight out of the fascist codebook: demonise the stranger even though 3 million EU citizens live/work and pay taxes here - meat for the Tory attack dogs.

Hey there people 😁
Our next artist is Calming River.
He is the moniker of British songwriter Joshua Malcolm. The name may connote tranquillity but there has always been a melancholic tide… instagram.com/p/BmTxrMpgM33/…
