ALT A mock book cover with the title AMITY COVE against a theatre/circus background with glitter, a striped tent, a ribbon boarder, and a ballerina in pose standing in as the letter 'I'.

ALT A black, gold, and pink image with two figures in either corner, one of a performer hanging from a rope, the other of a cloaked figure in a bird skull mask. The text reads AMITY COVE, Pitch: When her little sister disappears at a haunted wharf,Everly's sworn enemy is the only person with a lead on her whereabouts. She must dig into the sordid past of her town for answers, but doing so could bury her sister for good. Praise: "It's a gripping story with awesome imagery and cool twists." C.C. "You have truly mastered the art of what it means to write a compelling thriller." K.C. "You had me hooked from page one." K.H. "WHAT A TWIST!" M.P.

ALT A black background with a multicolor circus tent. Five book covers in the foreground as comparable titles. The books pictured are Pretty Little Liars, The Thrashers, Beth is Dead, Don't Look Back, One of us is Lying.

ALT Two figures bordering text. One figure is a performer standing precariously on a perch, the other is hanging upside down from a hanging ribbon. The text reads: One, The carnival comes alive at night. That’s what the town of Amity Cove always said. Well, the superstitious faction of town…which was basically everyone. If you go to the wharf at midnight, (or one a.m., three, three-eleven, twilight, whatever) slip through the padlocked, salt-worn iron gate, and find your way through the concessions, game booths, twirling teacups, and twisting teddy bears, you’ll see the amphitheater. And in it, the performers: The Fool juggling in her leaflet skirts. Lady Justice walking the tightrope. The Hanged Man dangling by his toes with his top hat still perfectly in place on his upside-down head. If you go, you will see. So said the ghost tale of Weston’s Wharf, which was bullshit. I’d been to the wharf a dozen times and seen absolutely nothing. No lights, no music, no sense of being watched.
