Ilhan Omar has won re-election to the United States House of Representatives, defeating Republican John Nagel to secure a fifth term in Minnesota. Few members of Congress have faced what she has faced from Donald Trump. He told her to "go back" to her home country, called her "garbage" and said she "should be in jail" and "sent back to Somalia."
When a man sprayed a liquid at her during a town hall meeting in Minneapolis, Trump suggested that she "probably sprayed herself."
Then he turned the power of the state on her. Trump said the Justice Department and Congress were looking into her finances, and three weeks before the election, about two dozen federal agents raided her Washington home, taking her phone, notebooks, computers and passport.
Her family received subpoenas, as the administration reportedly sought to strip her of her citizenship and deport her. She has not been charged with any crime, and no evidence of wrongdoing has been made public.
Trump used everything he had to destroy a refugee from Somalia, and the voters of Minneapolis sent her back to Congress!
Ilhan Omar won 263,166 votes, or 76.5%, against 55,805 votes, or 16.2%, for Republican John Nagel, a margin of about 207,000 votes. Independent candidate DeVelle Jackson took 24,215 votes, or 7.0%.

Chris Christie UNLOADS on Vivek Ramswamy losing the Ohio governor’s race...
“You not only have to question the judgement of a man who would take a woman — an elderly woman, out of the car she was living in out of the parking lot in a church in Pennsylvania with her cats and put her in front of a video camera, and make that a TV add in the gubernatorial race. We know what Vivek Ramswamy is, and voters have judged him as such. But here is the real problem going forward. J.D. Vance stood 100 percent with Vivek Ramaswamy. Not only as a person and a candidate, but he stood behind that advertisement. And Vivek Ramaswamy will be forgotten. He is going to be sent to the dustbin of history. But J.D. Vance is going to be remembered, I think, for this campaign, for more than anything else, David, that he stood by that ad, a man who wrote a book on Catholicism, stood behind that ad. It’s a disgrace.”
